I was in the same boat for quite a while. But I have played the arcade version a few times now. Gotta say, it's a different kind of challenge than using a normal controller or even using an arcade style controller. You have to deal with other people crowding you, loud noises all around you, you can't control the volume of the game. But it's super fun!
So to clarify the ending, I don’t live on my own. It is a shared place with a family member, who makes decisions on the house…they probably wouldn’t like that anywhere 😅
I travelled to Manchester to play one of the arcade cabinets , I stood there for 7 hours till my feet were sore 😵The dream is to go to Japan and play one though!
I played at the Arcades in Grapevine Texas during the winter time it kinda worries me they may take them out soon they only had one left Maybe we can possibly buy one if they do take them out but could be very expensive but it would be reviving history
Yeah, you'd have to go to Gigo for that arcade now. Since its under sega, it'd make sense for only them to have it. Back when they were sega arcades they had about 2 to 4 in each building. Recently it has reduced in number. Also the Leisureland inside Donki Akiba is fun. Also instant recognize that station and line when showed the dolphin statue.
Last I've ever experienced the real deal was in round 1 back in 2019, it's very sad and worrying to see that these cabinets may no longer be around. If that's the case I'm grateful to have had the experience of playing at least once in my lifetime these arcade cabinets. And at the very least, I had bought an arcade controller for the console games so I can come close to experiencing this for long periods of time. It's just not the same as playing in an actual arcade setting
Thats pretty cool. I've never played the arcade version. Just the home consoles (F, F 2nd, X, Future Tone) but would be neat to try the arcade version at least once.
4:55 on top of that, SEGA has 3 major arcade consoles (maimai, CHUNITHM, ONGEKI; in short, GEKICHUMAI) which has a lot more variety of songs that attract different audiences, including those level 15 charts that I can hardly make grade A or better. Compared to Project DIVA, which focuses on Vocaloid, SEGA obviously forfeit the Project DIVA series
Here is a list of all GiGO arcades in Tokyo that have Project Diva as of 2024: GiGO Akihabara Building 3 GiGO Shibuya Miyamasuzaka GiGO Shinjuku West Exit GiGO Machida GiGO Omori GiGO Sohonten GiGO Ario Kasai GiGO Funabori GiGO Fusheng In total 109 GiGO arcades throughout Japan still have Project Diva :)
Dude, if they are starting to get tossed, then you HAVE to buy one if you have the money. Put it in your living room, who cares if it clashes with your decor? Real fans dont make excuses, they find a way, and I KNOW you are a real fan.🩵

As one who owns 4 arcade rhythm game cabs (no Diva), you can absolutely fit anything inside.
For me, I played on Round 1 Arcades at Burbank, CA

5:13 *sacrifices must be made*
5:10 The garage that I’ve seen here looks like a good fit for the machine, just put it up near the wall

You can buy a cab! They are cheap now! I have one and have custom stuff on it!

I already knew that this game was difficult to search for although project DIVA has the rights to Sega
I really wanna try one :c
