Jenny, so happy that your family stayed safe during Debby and that Creekside fared well ❣️🙏🏼
Thank you❣️
I'm so glad to hear the storm didn't damage anything at the nursery. I love those hostas and the blooms are gorgeous.
Again…. that Signature Garden 😮, is stunning! The caladiums ❤
Wonderful to hear that you survived that storm, Praise God! ❤
Thankful that everyone got through the storm.
So glad Debby didn't do much damage!!
Happy you all fared well with Debby. I love Hostas !
I have found that my deer don’t like Liquid Fence Granules and it lasts though weeks of rain! And it’s been raining a lot here in South Carolina. Debby lasted 4 days, no rain for 2 days and it rained again last night, yay 😉 Prayers for our Lowcountry the River’s are still flooding people’s homes. In our state the water goes from the Mountains to the sea!🙏🙏
It's great to hear that you did not have any flooding! It's good you prepared just in case! Further north, we had about 4 straight days of rain 🌧 but luckily it was steady as well, instead of downpours! 😊
It was amazing to meet y’all Saturday and see your beautiful Creekside Gardens! 🌺 We were so excited to see the Proven Winners garden and fountain, nursery, and all your gorgeous flowers! Seeing it in person was just amazing! Y’all work so hard and we appreciate y’all so much! We know it’s a lot of hard work and dedication! Much Love to you both!! ❤🥰
P.s. that picture of your family on your store page is so adorable! The kids are so young , so sweet!!!!❤
Preach it Jenny!!! Shoot, as long as I just have a chunk of a healthy root, I'll be a happy camper. As long as something else doesn't get it, I know it'll come up next season.
The flowerbeds look beautiful! Thank you, God, for keeping them safe!
You were very lucky. Thousand weren't, please say a prayer 🙏 for those that lost everything, so many homes were floored.
Good morning, Jenny ☕️One can NEVER have too many Hosta! Sorry, Jerry😝 Have a Blessed Day😊🐶
So true!!!
Those pots are just gorgeous what a great idea.
Wish I lived closer! Those hostas are looking amazing! Glad the storm wasn’t too horrible for you.
Repellex tablets applied to the rootballs according to label directions at the beginning of the growing season keep the deer and bunnies from eating my hostas, hydrangeas, roses, and Mr Bowling Ball arborvitaes. Apply once and no more worries for the rest of the growing season. If you put them in once growing has begun, it takes about a month to become effective. The plants may get tasted but not devoured. I love it! We have herds of deer who graze through our yard.
Happy that everything was ok there. My favorite look in the Signature Garden right now is how those coleus (Golden Dreams?) are popping up behind the Sprinters. 🥰
Yes they are amazing!
Jenny you are making me really excited about all those hosta's. Glad the hurricane didnt do any damage. It didnt flood
Thank you for sharing this with us ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
And you all still managed to get my order shipped Friday! This is why you are my fav place to order from 🙌
I’m so glad y’all fared well during the storm!
So thankful Debby did not overwhelm you ! P.S.,my d'-in-law would love those earrings. Happy August 🌻
Thank you for the update. Praise God everything went well and no flooding! 🎉
Good morning Jenny, sorry Jerry but I totally agree with Jenny can't have enough hostas. We will be passing through there next spring and I will definitely stop in for more hostas. Gosh I wish I lived closer to you guys, coming to you from upper Illinois. Have a great day y'all.
So glad you are all okay after Debby. I love hostas but have great difficulty growing them here in 9b west of Houston.
Jerry doesn’t like hostas? I love hostas! They add so much to the garden! They always look good, some perennials don’t always look good throughout the summer, but these do! I know the deer love them too, but it’s well worth the fight, in my opinion. Keep on buying them Jenny! ❤❤❤❤❤
I’m with you Jenny about Hostas!! I have a small yard in zone 7, I love putting them in pots!
So thankful you guys are doing well 😘❤️🤓
Florence SC at my home a total of 13 inches of rain. Truly wet! Happy yours was not so bad.
LOVE LOVE LOVE hostal. I have started a massive hosta garden in deep shade. Actually have them everywhere, lol
Jenny I love hosta plants, gave one to my daughter in law she has in in her porch and they love it, give a real tropical vibe wherever you plant them, as you say just one gorgeous plant, they have it in a pot, I have loads of them in my garden live in Ireland, they are just a beautiful performer, no matter where you plant them, at least that my experience, good to know the darker leaver ones like the shade more, thank you for all you advice on them. love the setting you have them in, just absolutely gorgeous
Hi I follow your channel. I live in London Ontario Canada. I love hosta too, you are correct you can’t ever have enough hostas
I have a white feather hosta that is struggling to make it so I will take it out the ground and try a big pot with some annuals😊
Good morning from Kentucky! It is about planting season again! This morning in Shepherdsville it is a glorious 56 degrees! 😁🪴🌸🥀🍁
Team Hosta Blooms for sure! Love seeing the moths and occasionally hummingbirds visiting them, some are fragrant, and now I suddenly realize that I don't have a *proper* hosta bed! 🤔🤩
Sounds like we need to fix that problem! I'll be happy to help you shop 😂
Jenny,
Thank you for sharing the hydrangea idea.
I love hostas & love their blooms!
They're such fabulous plants!
Glad you guys faired well after the storm but your not out of the woods yet , there is another one lining up too!
I think we're in for quite the hurricane season 😳
Your just wonderful and amazing Jenny 🌹
SO relieved! 💕🙏
So glad you did not flood again, we had some high winds that made my hibiscus fall over, and some crape myrtles are bent over that was planted last year. I need to come out and get so me hostas.
Once I realized that I needed to use slug/snail bait on my hosta plants 🪴 I have had more beautiful gardens.
I live in the woods and deal with deer daily. Peppermint essential oil or extract work. Spray around the plants (NOT ON THEM).
Thank you 🙏❤️
I’m so happy Debbie didn’t cause any flooding for you.
Glad you came through safely!! I love Hostas and their blooms that dance in the wind too. Some blooms are white others more purple/ lavender. Love them❤
Blessings!
So very glad all is ok with you and the nursery!
Watching you from Delaware.
Happy to hear that the is okay.
I love hostas i plant them in the landscape and containers!
I need to show this video to my husband. He’s always making fun of me about my plant stash. If I don’t buy them someone else will 🌿😂
But seriously so happy you didn’t have water rushing through your beautiful nursery again. That would have made me cry ❤
My mom's name is Debbie. She's she short and likes gardening.
Beautiful hostas.💚 👍
Thank goodness , the hurricane didn't give you any damage and that you were safe!!
I can't wait to see next week's special when I get paid! Lol 💚
Jenny and Jerry, I am so thankful to see that your family and business made it through Debby. I know many were praying for y'all and so was I. I hastened to your You Tube site to learn how y"all had faired. Thanks for this video. May God continue to bless all of you richly. A sister in Christ. :)
Jenny - If I only lived closer I'd be buying all the hostas from you!
I know for us here in Southern VA (8B) we would LOVE to head to the garden centers but it's so hot walking in the greenhouses this time of year. The last time I went with my mom a few weeks ago, it was a struggle for her.
Are there any tips or encouragement you can offer those of us who are concerned and not used to those conditions? Thank you!
Hey Jenny. What sort of feed regime or repotting does a hosta, left in a pot, need to thrive.
Most of my PW petunias have done what your Saffron Finch did on your back porch, dead!!! What’s going on with these petunias, second year now having to pull them early!!
Omg!! You can never have enough hostas!!😂
Repeat customer here in Slower Lower Delaware. I can’t find the Rainbows End Hostas on your website?
Hi 👋 Jenny
Good morning!
So strange you don’t have deer pressure. Your property seems pretty rural. Why no deer?
We attribute it to the fact that there is so much undeveloped land around us. The deer prefer to eat their natural diet over our plants. We see deer regularly but they leave our plants alone on their own.
only 6 hostas show up online!
Yes, that is all we offer online at this time. The garden center & online store offer different inventory.
Jenny, I would love to order from you But your shipping costs are almost comparable to my order. I was going to order close to $50 and your shipping was $37. Sorry I can’t order from you.
Can I ask what you were trying to order? I want to investigate your shipping costs.
🙋
😂you are so cute ❤
I got three!🪴🪴🪴
Thank you❣️
