16:25 it's worth mentioning that the fireball has a charge function (i literally only realised this when i was 50, yesterday) hold button down for 2-3 secs for a massive opener hit; or when you just want to demolish a large group of enemies clustered together. My build is very similar but more lightning focused, but i tend to agro everything i can and then nuke adds hard with it's chain lightning abilities.
Working toward this now. Best wand/staff I have available atm are golem wand and staff though. Not great, but I maxed all 3 traits for hit chance, crit chance, and mana regen, so hopefully should do ok
the blue staffs are better imo until you get into the really high end staves. the one that drops from the 20 co-op dungeon gives a total of 12 attribute points, the purple one he is using offers none. I'm running all blue gears except for the top, and a ring. I have a total of 143 attribute points total. best part is most parts are easily farmable and cheap to buy traits for.
Like a Beginner, Midgrade, and End Game Breakdown? Would be amazing ... love it when streamers do that ... but it is incredibly time consuming. Maybe sponsors can help support this? Because there's a massive want and need for this ... especially Midgrade (blues) 🤩

Did you enable any kind of direct casting the aoe wand skills in the settings menu? I find it hard to cast that one that takes casting time and applies curse. Enemies keep walking out of it
don't get epic gear at all stay blue and max out all traits it will be alot cheaper/easier and be better, at some point then feed those blues later to epic u get blessing, thats if u play that long the p2w is horrendous, say epic weapon it will cost at least £300 or more to unlock and trait, drops are extremely rare and few i been playing 210hrs and its just bad but heyho us krill are here to feed the whales in this game.

I'm just starting out and this looks like the most fun build I've found for staff so far. I do have a question- as I'm leveling, is there any kind of priority order you'd use for leveling active and passive skills? Unfortunately I've already dumped a lot of points into things and I've felt pretty weak, hoping the vampiric contract and other changes help me out.
Get the story finished it alone gives u enough. You can dismantle your active and passive books by just clicking it in your inventory, I’d recommend dismantling the purple books u get to level. Get ur passive traits to purple you’ll feel a lot stronger 👍🏾
@betheusify Dark ritualist staff gives 12 attribute points maxed out, it's bis blue staff imo, I used it a long time before I switched to umbramancers .
hitting 30 in all 4 is a big help. I put the rest in wisdom or perception (staff wand). 40 dex gives an extra 15 attack, or 40 in str gives 15 extra defense, since its free to restat, i do depending on where I'm going. right now im running 33 str 30dex, 30 wis and 50 perception
2900 gs ftp staff gs playing I replaced my gs with a wand I picked up mid dung and became the healer for the party lmao it was funny. If I get a wand that is worth it I might just swap cuz staff gs is crazy aoe but you die almost instantly lmao
Keep an open mind on your wand, curses do a CRAP ton of damage. I use a flip version of this where I use the staff for 'curse: burning' stack support on curse explosion.
Greatsword/dagger for dps is the best for greatsword. Unless you wanna tank, then you wanna go sns/greatsword. Theres other viable builds but that's the meta.
So basicaly the whole VAMPIRE MAGE thing is because you are yusing 1 passive that heals you the damage of the orbs, and that's it... I expected the whole build to go around the self-healing concept or something extra, because half of the Invocators already uses that passive and they are not any VAMPIRIC build xD Okay it sounds cool on the video but it would be great that you have made somehow the whole build to add to that self+healing drain HP idea I watched the whole thing expecting a moment on which you would say why is this a vampiric mage build, like maybe some synergies with the gear, or with active skills, but nope. Only 1 passive skil being used the way it was intended basicaly, as the skill says that you will be healed by the damage done by the orbs. I don't know... I know this build and video is well intended and that everyone that is starting on this game may love to use it but IT'S IMPORTANT that I tell everyone that at the end-game people will kick you out of tier 2 dungeons if they see you using an hybrid of dps and healing. I know it's cool, and it's the whole idea of building staff+wand righ? we all love to heal us and everyone a bit wihle doing good DPS. But the reality is that at the very end you will have and MUST choose if you want to go FULL DPS or FULL SUPPORT because if not they will cally you Fake Healr and kick you out. Sad reality is that people is very rush in this game and they want to speedrun the dungeon. When you reach the Tier 2 dungeons and the game events that require people to know their stuff, if you are not focused on your role they kick you out. And if they see you wearing a werid mix of Gear they will also kick you ou If the don know that and sthey follow your guide blindly they will find out the hard way on late game, and will realise the leveled the wrong skills and they leveled an hibrid of dps+heal but that now they have to start using lvl1 skills that were never leveled before, and start from zero In summary: this "Build" and many others are fun early/middle game, but at the end game you have to choose and focus your gear and skills on 1 role, there is no place for hybrids unfortunately, this is because a full focused support will already FULL HEAL everyone to the point that no more heals are needed, including shields and protections. Also a full DPS focused will do much more damage than this hybrid build, so at the end you have a fun build but that noone will like you using as is better to focus on the role to do it better. Instead, choose DPS and use the wand skills spezialization to increase your damage, like turning "Time of Punishment" skill to increase your own damage wit hthe skill spezialization, or choose full SUPPORT and use Staff High Focus to decrease all cooldowns + Mana Amp passive to increase MANA to heal more and faster, etc
i use this, but not all those heals, i have 1 heal. i use the three curses 2 that weaken and one that blows up with bonus blowup for burning stacks. normally i dont die easy unless a boss crits me for my health bar of 8k.
I think you should disclose the fact that this is not an end-game built and whoever has a wand will be expected to be a healer, ALWAYS. I see alot of people who try to go "mage built" and then get shocked when they aren't taken into groups because they aren't willing to heal but they have a healer weapon. For anyone who is not aware wand is healer only weapon.
Bow/Staff is the "Glass Cannon" - meaning it can't take much direct threat/damage.... on the inverse "Staff/Wand" makes you able to take those hits from tougher mobs... DPS is always 0 when you're KO'd

LOLOL at least do the mech properly (NICE BUILD ANYWAYS) your suppose to not kill the mini scorpions When the big one goes underground follow the purple crystal dust around, where that stops you lead the scorpions into it they will blow up cause a chunk of damage to the boss, and stun it for a few open free hits (just like the start of the match)
Most classes can single target crypt monster with blue and green gear. This isn't anything special. You need to show group pulls 3-6 crypt or saurodoma farming.
No offense, but this guy's about where I am and i'm new to the game. I can already see this build is an issue as it is not a true healer or true DPS. That being said it causes runs to go slower. When the harder dungeons come out, smash teams won't allow this as it will put stress on the team. This is like driving a Camaro with a V6 engine lol
v-6 is just like any other engine, can be boosted and blow away the v8s. 300 horsepower is 300 horsepower. boost it with 14 pounds and its a 500 + hp sleeper. people get hung up on how many cylinders an engine has, torque is the important #. his staff is junk and its supposedly a (V8) . he has 96 attribute points. I have a blue staff all blue except for top and 1 ring and I'm pushing 143 attribute points. (33 str, 30dex,30 wis, 50 per). mostly v-6 gears XD
A lot of things are fixed with settings and others are just a matter of preference. There are also two combat modes depending on what you prefer. Plenty of great things about this game actually.
@@volv this one isn't it. you can grind for better blue gears in the ants nest and the 20 dungeon. do the 20 dungeon as often as you can stand it. he drops a great blue staff, bis for blue in my opinion. you can get a good hat , legs and shoes in ants nest. look for gears that add attributes even if its only 1 or 2 points. just enhancing to level 8 will add 2 more points. in the case of the staff im talking about, maxed out it adds a total of 12 attribute points. his purple staff adds none. 12 points goes a long ways

You can still get 1 comboed in pvp but it’s definitely nice in pve

That's one build but there's better things for xbow. Dagger is usually a better option but you can make it work

No disrespect but this build is exceptionally poor. Largely missed the point of thse weapons

Try changing some settings. There are so many combat related settings that impact how combat feels.

Felt same thing and logged off but next day tried it again not to bad and you can sell stuff for premium currency i noticed to gear up.
