I remember those days watching it live as a teenager 😂😂. Ricky ponting, Andrew Symonds, Bevan, Michael Clarke. Also remember that game where Bret Lee hit a 6 of the final over to win the match 😂😂
It was so nice to see him bat like that but we just can't unsee how bad he has been in T20 WCs.
When he gets going then no one does it better than him but what about when he doesn't? Wish he can repeat similar innings in the next 1/2 games.

Yes, his form has been under scanner in this WC but he has been the most consistent Indian Run machine in all formats for the last 10 years. He will still be the key. Even the English and SA player will still look to corner him irrespective of his poor form. They know if they let him stay on the crease he can win it single handedly on any day just like Rohit did.
On the other hand if he fails to show results in the next 2 matches there is a lot of chance he will announce retirement from t20 himself.

By law of averages, any batsman SHOULD fire in the Semi because it would be Kohli's 8th match of the tournament where he has had 1 match abandoned, 5 subpar performance and only 1 par performance vs BAN. His form has stooped so low that he's brought down to be just 'any' batsman from the 'greatest & consistent' batsman.
