- The Big Day!
I am showing y'all EVERY step of this process, and securing a future for mini Deepica/s to rome the earth. I hope you enjoyed sharing this very meaningful part of my life with me. Know that you can choose whatever feels right to you, your life and your body and hope you find the courage to always do so.
Xo
Deepica
Wow I really didn’t expect to have an emotional reaction. This is big. An Indian woman publicly sharing her journey so others know it’s okay. I love it so much.
🧡
i know Im kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to stream newly released movies online?
I have to say.....Telugu parents supporting their daughter's egg freezing decision is something I would've never expected. Your family is so wonderful!
Man yours kids will be such positive and strong human beings for having someone like you as their mother. You give off such good vibes
Thank you that’s really sweet
Well said 👏100 Percent agreed
@@deepica hello im from bahrain thanks for sharing your journey, may i ask how old you was when you did this procedure??
Aunty is so cute. She's concerned about her child just like a typical Indian mom. Even though she doesn't completely get the whole process she still has your back. Kudos to her!!
Aunty? She like Deepica's age...
@@aloe704 She's talking about Deepica's mom I think.
@@poojithacheeti6495 I know lol, sorry I realized like 2 minutes after I posted the comment lmao
Im in my 40's and single. I never thought of freezing my eggs in my 30's but I wish I did this. I had a friend once who remarked that I should have frozen my eggs and I felt it was an insensitive comment especially I did not seek her advise on the matter at all. I was taken aback coz I felt a bit violated as if my worth was tied to having kids or being a mother. I have no regrets not freezing my eggs or planning ahead to have children or family. I feel when the time is right for me I will naturally and organically settle down and have a family. I will not succumb to society pressure or judgements...however insensitive and intrusive it may be.
Kudos to you for sharing your journey its an eye opener and a glimpse of what may be my own journey if I do try it one day. I see its a challenge to go through ot but you have some awesome friends and family to support you thru it all...truly a blessing..💕💪
I feel empowered knowing another kindred soul like yourself. Keep doing you. Im gonna keep doing me too.
21 eggs with 20 mature. Wow. I wish I'd known about egg freezing at your age. I found out about needing it due to diminished reserves in 2019. My parents were 1000% against it. My doctor said I had 12 months to get my head around it. 12 months later: covid & all IVF clinics closed in Australia for almost a year Doing it now, and while mum & dad are on board now, the results are not that great at 38 years, 10 months. If I could tell any woman one thing from my experience, just do it. Holding onto hope that you meet the right person is fine, but you'll never lose out on putting eggs away earlier. If your parents/family aren't supportive now, they will be - give them time. But don't give egg freezing time because you don't have time to give your eggs. If being a parent to a biological child is something you want have part of your life one day, just do it. If you do it in your early 30s, it's empowering. If you're in your late 30s, it's a last ditch effort to hold onto a string of hope. Don't think, just do. Bravo Deepica.
U r still very young, I hope u wil find someone great in near future and also reach your career goals at the same time. You are on the safe side now anyways. You go gal .
Thank you so much for sharing your journey Deepica, and helping to normalize egg freezing and later-age motherhood!
Loved watching your honest & personal journey of freezing your eggs. I used to be a fertility nurse. I saw many women come to us past the age of 40 trying to conceive naturally and yet they never froze their eggs and one thing our doctor always used to say that stuck with me is “I wish you came to us 5 years ago” . Fertility drastically declines past the age of 35 as well as egg quality. Patients would even ask me how about Halle Berry or Janet Jackson? They had their babies late? All I would say is, you don’t know the back end of their story. Loved your vulnerability Deepica, truly. We needed to see this from a BIPOC woman so thank you so much because you didn’t have to share this special intimate journey with us. Also congratulation on your 20 eggs thats beyond amazing! Hope you got the chance to celebrate that 🙌🏾 🎉💃🏾
Watching this entire series was incredible. I felt like I went through the journey with you and felt all the emotions. I’ve been watching many videos like this after I turned 30 this year and set up my consult for egg freezing. Truly felt like I was (and still am) in a state of grief trying to reconcile what I thought my life would look like at this point vs. what it is. Thinking about doing this process, especially thinking about doing it alone, is truly frightening. But seeing another Indian woman take ownership over her life and her body, navigate these conversations with her parents, and have the support of friends and family was so inspiring to me. Honestly, I feel even more empowered to do this. Thank you so much for being so vulnerable and having the courage to have these conversations. It’s so necessary and life-changing for our community!
We are in a fertility journey now and seeing this brings me so much joy! Thank you for breaking more of the stigma
Seeing this made me cry, you are amazing! As a South Asian woman I never see the women in our community talk about what they go through physically or emotionally. I pray you continue to live your truth unapologetically.
Thank you soo much for sharing this! I am 27, almost 28 and single. I for sure will be considering this route now
Thank u so much for sharing this.. I have endometriosis and I'm jus 27 , my doctor suggested me to freeze my eggs as my amh levels are low.. I was so scared to go through the process.. but after watching ur series I'm still scared but I feel I can do it too.. thank u again for such an inspiring videos
I am 15 and I didn't know what is egg freezing but I have watched videos regarding this and I am so glad that I got so much information about this topic as even I want to have kids only after 30 or 35. To be frank these videos have more knowledge than my biology books
Love you from Hyderabad ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for sharing! I did this on my own at 35 more because I was being pressured by others and not so much because I want children. I had to go thru the injections twice because it didn’t work the first time. I only got 3 mature eggs at 35 and it was devastating to know that. I felt like my body had failed me. I didn’t know many others who had done this because it is looked at as taboo. And I didn’t know how to talk about it to others. Now I’m glad that I went thru the process and if and when I decide to have children I have a back up plan if I can’t conceive naturally.
how many eggs they found in the second timd dear?
Oh my god..thank you so much Deepica..deeply touched with your love for women and society and change maker..may god bless you , may you inspire many more specially women , many are getting abused in different way.. Sarvejana Sukhino Bhavanthu
I love you, Deepica the moment you said mom's are great. I jz delivered my 3rd baby and I feel I'm empowered, going thru such a roller coaster journey yet embracing the labour pain that I endured. It is so worth it♥️ Get well soon, ya🌻
Love from Malaysia

You are just a beautiful , inspiring , incredible and strong ass woman , trust me when I say this !!! M 22 now and these videos taught me so much and to make a decision that if I want to that I would do this with my whole heart without 1% of fear or any thought on what the society would talk and its very very very important!!!
I love that more young women are getting informed and freezing their eggs. 🙌 Tbh when I started my conception journey I felt so let down by how little we know about our fertility.
It's quite common these days...lot of bollywood actress done but no one will speak about it... Much appreciated that u have shared with us. 👏👏👏
Thank you, Deepika for the pep-talk to close out this series. You are a strong amd powerf woman, always. I am currently 28 and was diagnosed with rheumatic conditions that may make choosing to be a mother difficult. Children may not be in my future with my boyfriend of 10 years and THATS OK AND MY BUSINESS. NO ONE ELSE'S! Thank you again!

Would you ever be comfortable sharing how much it costs to freeze your eggs? I’m interested in the process but I’ve heard it’s an expensive fee each year to store them. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I think topics like these need to be discussed more in the Asian community!
For it was $8,500 for procedure and $3,000 for meds. My insurance is covering most of my labs which I’d put down about 1k if your insurance doesn’t cover.
You’re such a strong, inspirational woman! Kudos to you for making this choice and sharing the journey with us ❤️
Oh deepica you are so inspiring!🤗🤗🤗 sending you so much love! ❤I was scared while watching these vlogs but you girl, you made it!
This was awesome! Thank you for bringing us on your egg freezing journey!
I’m 37 years old, mom of 1, 34 weeks pregnant with baby number 2! Yet I was so intrigued to watch your journey of egg freezing, all raw and honest, just to educate myself better on this! So that someone or even if my own daughter would want this one day, I can support her decision! Thanks for sharing 💕👍🏻
THANKYOU! THANKYOU FOR THIS! You helped normalize this and your end speech made me SO emotional! Thank you so much Deepica! :)
