Thanks for showing the real thing. We all loose plants, but mostly everything survived & is looking great. I like seeing you with the plants but which ever I’ll b happy with. Don’t get too hot when dead heading. These temps are brutal 🥵
Hi Nicole🌺 .Your garden looks stunning even though you were on a trip . I love to seeing you with the plants in the video . Happy 4th 🇺🇸 . Have a wonderful day. 🌺🌻🌺
@@linakhoury6623 thank you for letting me know which style you prefer! I appreciate it very much. I am super happy with how things held up in the garden 😊 Have a happy, safe 4th, and thank you for all the support! 🇺🇲🌺
First, glad you a wonderful holiday! Your back safe and sound! Your garden looks amazing! It always amazes me how much the garden grows while being away! 🪴👒🪴
@pattyvalinote4612 thank you very much for this sweet message! 😊 You're so right - it IS amazing how much a garden can grow while being away! Have a great day! 🌺🌞
I like long videos, such a treat! Happy you enjoyed your trip, the garden looks so nice, the oleander is so impressive , but the other plants too. Calla lilies don t like warm weather, but they are not dead. They will start to grow and bloom at about 21 degrees Celsius. 🥀🌻
Awe, thank you! I'm never quite sure how long is "too long" for a video, but this one just flowed so easily 😄Yes, I am super impressed with the oleander!! That's good news about the calla lilies, this is my first time with them. So I guess I'll leave them in the ground and see what happens! Thanks again! 🥀
@@mycarolinagarden It is never too long. Yes, forget about the calla lilies and they will surprise you when the weather cools down. I am not sure if they like full sun,, you will see.
Great job! Things are looking really good! I'm a big fan of dipladenia, to me they are my new petunia! Love you in the videos! By the way, have you thought about sending in a video to Dig, Plant, Water, Repeat?! We need some southern gardens like yours!
@user-bu4jk2jq4l thanks so much for this message! I said the same thing about Dipladenia being the new Petunia! 😂 No, I hadn't right about sending a video in to her. Hope you're having a great weekend!
So glad you didn't lose a lot of plants while away. Everything seems to be healthy and growing well. Thanks for sharing. I really do not have a preference in the camera shots. Although it is good to see the expressions on your face while enjoying your lovely plants. See you next time.😍😍
@lajoyceneafus3021 thanks so much for giving me your thoughts on the video style, it's helpful to have that feedback. I appreciate your support, and hope you have a beautiful day! 🌞🌺
You should be glad for how well your garden performed. How long were you in Scotland. Would love to see some private gardens over there. On TH-cam lots of private gardens in UK that ate amazing
@wesleyhackney I'm definitely happy with how things held up. You never know, especially in the brutally hot summer, not being around 9 days can make a difference. Definitely way different in the UK, but came home with some inspiration!
Hi! I am glad you had a great trip. Sounds amazing! I like both styles of filming. I’d watch whatever you put out because I really love your channel. I will say though, it was nice to seamlessly walk through your garden with you. Take care!
@@stefanischilling6401 thank you so much for this feedback! I always like it when the gardeners are in the video because it helps to get to know them more, but I have to say this was easier 😂 Have a wonderful, safe 4th of July! 🌞🌺
Beautiful gardens, at least you have irrigation, I don't have it and it's hard to go on vacation and leave my flowers, I hate having someone come to do all the watering, it takes quite a while, I do have someone come and water my potted plants around the house. Either way you want to do your videos is fine with me. Could you tell us a little about Scotland? Would love to know about the country, especially since some of my relatives are from there, Thanks!
@caroldavis3497 thank you for your message! I hear you about leaving the gardens without irrigation. I'm new to irrigation, so many times I've left and worried or prayed for rain. I would absolutely love to share about Scotland! I think I will make a video about some of the beautiful sights, gardens and castles ❤️ Probably have it ready in about a week or so.
That weed over by the boardwalk looks similar to the spurge we get in Texas. Does it have one main stem under all that? I like how you do your videos where you put the tripod out and then you’re able to be in the shot. But, a lot of the tour videos I watch are like what you did today. I like both. 😊
@summerofstacey6676 yes the weed sure does have 1 stem under all that. Maybe it's the same thing. I hear you, most of the garden videos I watch the people are not in the videos, and that's OK, but I feel like being in them helps people get to know me better... then maybe understand my gardening style more too? I guess I'll play it by ear, as not being in it is way easier lol
@@mycarolinagarden it’s definitely easier to be spontaneous when you just pick up the camera/phone and start filming; I can tell you’ve planned more bc setting up your shots is a lot of work!

I think Jim Putnam called that weed a spotted spurge. I am constantly pulling it from my garden beds, too.
It's frustrating when your gardens may struggle, yet the weeds are always in abundance 😂
So true!

For being away from your garden for a while your garden looks excellent. Just a little dead heading and your back on top. I like the videos both ways.
Thank you so much for your feedback! It really is helpful! 😄 I am pleased with how the garden did - deadheading, here I come! 😅
Everything is looking beautiful and seems to have held up nicely! 🌞🌺
