Another great video Steve. I camped there probably 30 years ago with our youth group from church. We camped in the group site in tents. I had actually forgotten about it until your video. You have put this on my radar for my wife and I to do in the Oliver. Thank you!
The bear proof trash cans and water posts with spigots remind me of my camping trips as a kid in the Lincoln National Forest and Mescalero mountains region. Great video. Safe travels and adventures! 🤝
I stumbled upon your channel this morning. I really enjoyed this vid and hope that you make more. It was interesting, informative, entertaining, and without the awful editing, garish music, and histrionics of other channels. I felt like a friend was sharing his adventure. I will be sure to watch your other videos. Safe travels and have fun!
Thanks so much, I appreciate your comments! I try to avoid doing things in my videos that I don't like seeing myself, like click-bait titles, drama, etc. Your comments mean a lot to me- hopefully lots more to come. Thanks for subscribing and watching!
I wonder if you might have an auto switch-over propane regulator. In that case you could just open the second tank and continue to use the first one until it's done. The regulator would switch automatically. Very unique and interesting water falls there at Benton. Love your videos!
Hi, yes, I do have that kind of regulator on the Oliver, but I don't use it, I'd rather know for sure when I run out of propane on a tank! Thanks for the suggestion though and thanks for watching!
Yes, I am very happy with it. I did an interview with Liz Amazing about my experiences with the Oliver, check it out: th-cam.com/video/QuFLXavLucE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hzfo_wR1qK9bZ1qM Thanks for watching!
Did you ever figure out why the campground was booked up, but hardly anyone was there? I wonder if people didn't show because of the rain forecast... Also, who held the camera in the gazebo shot? Was that Oreo? ;)
No, I never figured out why. Completely booked by ghosts, I guess-- It was Halloween during my stay :) Oreo is no help with recording, she has no thumbs... I did that shot with an iPhone gimble that will track my movement.

Very cool! Some things never change. Thanks for watching!
Great editing and content, Steve. Many videos only show the outside, but you do a fantastic job showing what it's like staying inside too.
Great, I appreciate the feedback! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I love your Oliver!
I appreciate it, John. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing. Are you happy with the Oliver so far? I am seriously considering one.

@@StevesRoadTripChronicles That gimble did a pretty good job acting as an assistant. I'm impressed!
Chilhowee is pronounced Chill-A-Way😁
Interesting! I’ll have to remember that so I’ll sound like a local. 😂 Thanks for watching!
