Musharaf refused to condemn Chinese treatment of Muslims because he needs Chinese help for his party and country. But then he realised Muslims will not be happy so he quickly then switched conversation to the alleged “bad” treatment of Muslims in India. Smart as he’s a seasoned former world leader in a country that sees a lot of world affairs action. He obviously is anti India and Hindus but would make for a formidable opponent.

To my opinion she is the India's no 1 journalist and the authority with which she handle Musaraff is really commendable.What we find here that Musaraff simply dodged all the critical positions raised by her, in fact, Musaraff has no answer for all the questions raised by her.
Other journalist can not follow . It is all her indigenous intelligence . She loves her nation, observation, ability to identify the truth , in/ depth knowledge and wide knowledge, passionate dedication, sincerity towards her profession . caring humanity , all this put forth her as best journalist. Whoever develop these qualities can become best in their career .

Abdullah Just repeating lies doesn't make them right, on many occasions when musharraf gave sweeping statements on minorities of india then when anchor asked him to give an example then he was just blanked out , this shows that how leaders or generals of Pak give statements without even knowing the ground realities. By the way if you want to be HAPPY by abusing India or Indians the go for it because you have got this one only but we have a lot more to do to make our country as one the great powerful nation in the world.

Bilkul sahi baat eh yaar.... We as indians or I may say specifically Hindus need to be a bit aggressive towards protecting our community rather always being defensive.... I know our religion doesn't teach us this, but when peace is always put forward from our end and not from the other there needs a change.... Sikhism is a very good example of a community made for protection in past from Hinduism.
Today when i watch this video it just makes me laugh. So much has changed in 3 years. The most important one is Abrogation of article 370 and many important changes in govt. policies. I wish you could make another interview with him the next year.

Brigadier General Palki that was a flamboyant interview, I could feel that you were venting heat but kept cool!!! And I could not hold myself laughing when you said "specific" I think you talked that word in front of a person who doesn't know it's spelling, Parvez accepts the fact by speaking the word "our terrorists" that they nurture terrorists and his soft corner for them is as if these terrorists are a para military force of Paxtan. Lovely interview, as for your questions very brilliantly put, but the answers were difficult to be answered, Paxtan cannot talk of China as they are funded for their end. While Parvez calls India "Bada Bhai" I am sure he will get a letter from Pooh Bear quoting that I am known as big brother in China and you should also learn to believe it and "scrape the poison off the bone" if you have any for the CCP since you are Paxtan province of China!! Highly appreciated and tons of respect from India.
Wonderful interview and wonderful answers by Pervez Musharraf which were based totally on truth, honesty and to bring close relationships between both countries without costing the respect and dignity of any country.
Palki should do more interviews with this man. I could sit down and watch them and laugh all day.
Pal, I have not yet listen to the Part 1 of this extended interview with Gen. Pervez Musharraf, but I think the General gave away an important ingredient to the process of peace; which is: Pakistan sees India as an elder in the region; but just that being recognised and respected as an elder in any relationship comes with a great price, which sometimes means: be ready to endure distresses just for the sake of keeping things balanced and stable.
I think India must accept that noble position and take on the responsibility that comes with it. Furthermore, I believe that the General's statement on: the eldership of India, especially on the sub-continent, is genuine. The worse that India can do, and more appropriately, through the person of PM Modi, is to test whether the respect is there at the people's level. But I think the leadership of Pakistan definitely have respect and admiration for Mr. Modi; it's just that he is not playing it in their wishful direction. The General mentioned that.
It is important to that a diplomacy based on traditional espirit-de-corp and cultural values will work much more better, than one based on white-collar rule book. And think PM Modi is best equipped that. He is a man that values traditional ties and values that keep a nation of people together. He is my chum when it comes to that.😂 And of course, you know the roles and places of both religion and politics in the civil space of this Jammu & Kashmir conflict.
Asking whether the conflict will be resolved in our lifetime, I think Pakistan is tired of it now; and will be ready accept any respectful solution that will give them an honourable exit from the conflict.
Pal, it is not easy to be an elderly brother in such relationship and affairs, but at the same time India cannot afford to reject the role that she truly fit. Perhaps it's your last test for the promotion to a globally recognised global power, which you truly are, if you keep tightening your grips on consolidating that position.
