Although I'm Italian, there is a lot in common between Greece and Italy, Rome would have not been possible to be built without the overwhelming influence and help from the people of Greece. Right now I'm residing int the US, 33 years and I would love to see this kind of unannounced happiness, traditions, young, old, guys, girls all together, saying I am who I am, LOVE IT! How come we don't have this kind of moments here in the states? Dancing and enjoying the moment, regardless of who's there or what they say. As someone else mentioned, dancing for traditions on public instead of bullets flying all over, instead of worrying about the last Jordan's sneaker, last PlayStation, the biggest gold chain...................this need to be shown on TV and everywhere to young people, we are all descendants of them, form of government, language, religion just to name a few, my respect to whoever initiated this moment and all the followers, beautiful, it bring tears to my eyes, OPA!!

Watching this video totally transported me back to eating dinner at my Uncle Angelo's house with his cousins, who were all from Greece. The food took all day to make and was so delicious. After dinner, my uncle and his cousins would drink maybe a little too much ouzo and start shouting at each other in the kitchen. "OPA!"s would be heard booming throughout the whole house and the evening would inevitably end with everyone clasping hands to each others shoulders and dancing, much like they did in this video. Almost all of them have since passed away, and those wonderful dinners seem like a lifetime ago. What I wouldn't give to go back in time and see them all again.
