You know what, when am looking for a tutorial it's yours that I always want to find because you do it better than all the others; there's a way you include important tips and tricks in your explanations that others don't. I really love and respect you, Jeff. May God bless you and grant you many more years.
Wow! Learned a lot. Thank you so much! Amazing how many little things I still dont know despite working in CAD for the last four years day in and day out. Really appreciate your time in sharing your experience. Clear and helpful!
you probably dont give a damn but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
@Zahir Russell i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi In order to find the finish grading level I need to subtract/add some portion of volume surfaces. I have 2 volume surfaces. From one I have take cut area, from other I need to take fill area. Question 1 how to extract part of volume surfaces. Question 2 how to add/ subtract levels ( amount of adding and subtracting is volume surface) Thanks for your support in advance. RGaur
Good Day sir Jeff... Great video is the extracted boundary lines is it dynamic? or purely poly lines? Do you have any books that you can recommend me on how to design land development (housing subdivision ) on a slope or mountainous terrain? for optimal earthworks (cut and fill)
+John Bernard Zerda Hi John, the extracted boundary line is created as a 3D polyline and is not dynamic to the surface. As far as books, I use "Mastering AutoCAD Civil 3D" & "AutoCAD Civil 3D Essentials" (both available on Amazon.com) as desk references. When it comes to learning Civil 3D, I am partial to my Civil 3D video training series on lynda.com - www.lynda.com/JeffBartels :)

Try out KeySurfaceFix on the Autodesk app store, it repairs holes in surfaces :O
Hi my surface has disappeared. What do I do sir?
....wow this guy said the exact same things, word by word from another TH-cam video made 2014.....
