I think the issue of north south for sunlight may not be a big issue for us in Kenya, provided the plants are not in the shade ....because we are in the equator..... Our plants get good exposure to sunshine ....
Big up, pollinator will improve the fruit size, shape and apple will develop seeds which regulate fruit growth. Thinning 💯 💯 On Pruning the structure of the tree 🎄 🎄 🎄(pyramidal shape, central leader, matters alot.
Kate can you please explain the pollinator as a seperate subject. I really didn’t understand it clearly on this video. The what? And how bit of it please plus probably where?
Hey Kate. Love the lessons. However, I wish the person filming could get closer to you so that we see where exactly your pruning and thinning. We’ll done
The pollinator s have to be done by professionals since that’s grafting. So now you should start selling seedlings with the pollinators already ama?? My guess.
They are as important as pollinators. The advantage of pollinators is that they will ensure that the bees(agent of pollination)are attracted to the orchard through out the seasons while giving you yield.
Thanks. This is one of the best videos ever uploaded

What's the potential yield per tree per year with the new techniques? ( How many seasons and which months are they?)
Also pollinators are great now that shadenet is better of use than birds net which let in insects
True
Thanks. Do you have agronomist to support new farmers ?
Sure, it is our pleasure to serve all farmers interested in or doing pomology.
What are the pollinators? I have a big marigold field growing aroumd my apple trees
Using this measurements, how many trees per acre
Please clarify of spacing 1m×1m plant to plant on line or 2m × 2m
1m is from one tree to the other. The 3m is from row to row
At what point should the apple prunning begin?
After 6months
Kate can you please explain the pollinator as a seperate subject. I really didn’t understand it clearly on this video. The what? And how bit of it please plus probably where?
Plant your apples from North to South, unlike Cate and most farmers, who did and are doing East to West.
That's the new information. For better sunlight access by the plants

This is well noted, and i will improve on it
Where in the Philippines can we buy wambugu seedlings?
Hello we send them to you from kenya. Whatsapp me on +254722284176 so we can organise
Arent bees aa effective as the pollinators you are talking about?
Yes they are. The pollinators will ensure that there is an attraction of the latter through out the seasons.
One meter by 3 meters even when you are intercropping???
Yes, because when intercropping, you do it in the space between the rows not within the row.
@@bildadoloto Agreed
The pollinator s have to be done by professionals since that’s grafting. So now you should start selling seedlings with the pollinators already ama?? My guess.
Sure, complicated mathematics simplified; you will simply order and get it ready for planting.
@@bildadoloto you work with Wambugu apples?
how long should we wait for the pollinators
Soon, i'll let you know when they are available
Aren't bees as effective as pollinators you are talking about.
At what point should the prunnung begin?
@patrickwalusansa9959 Bees take a long while compared to the pollinators and don't guarantee same results as the pollinators
@@patrickwalusansa9959After 6 months
What happened to Bees as pollinators?
They are as important as pollinators. The advantage of pollinators is that they will ensure that the bees(agent of pollination)are attracted to the orchard through out the seasons while giving you yield.
They will carry pollen/ cross pollination
Cate we'll enroll you to an English class
