I live in Phoenix and over the last 2 yrs I have traveled more than any other time, mainly because I got my eyesight fixed and everything looks AMAZING to me! (almost went blind twice, lived for over 20+yrs with cataracts and didn't know what was wrong!) and now i take photos like crazy, apparently I have an eye for it! I went to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum yesterday and it has got to be one of the most AMZING places I have ever been! It's on your way to Miama/Globe and it will probably take more than once to see it all (I spent about 4-5hrs there). There are so many little gems like that in AZ that I have only been recently discovering...thanks to TH-cam. I'm going to go next down to Bibee after a travel thru these spots here and a stop at the Mission in Tucson...I'm super excited!
@@DeweysWorld Dewey, I really appreciate your vids. You and my guy Big Super Living in Arizona are my two favorite channels. I came really close to being completely done with TH-cam because it's so saturated with hate and negativity. I live in Nebraska unfortunately but will finally be going to Arizona on the 3rd of June. Hopefully I can find a bag of gold on the side of the road so I won't have to come back but if not at least I'll be able to be there through you guys videos after my vacation is over. Thanks again.
i grew up in Globe. Father was the Machine Shop manager for Modern Industries in Miami until they shut it down and then he drove from Globe to Phx via HWY60 every day until he retired . I went to Holy Angles Catholic School, then onto Globe Jr High and my 9th grade year went to Miami Hs then moved to Texas .This time next year im going to move BACK to Globe so ican retire there . Im 50 years old now . I miss globe lol

i heard that Globe. miami. & superior have really bad crime though as of what kind im not sure.. yet, i do know that there has been cops that have been on the brady list's ( most of them work in Superior, ) and have been working in other towns near by, & in the general area etc.. and im not sure if anything has changed there or not, but its really sad to see these towns & homes abandoned overall. and if things are still bad there, i hope things will change in the future. the area is a really pretty place to live or to visit.

Oh...and Canyon Lake is so absolutely stunning and beautiful! I'd never even heard of it till' last year...about an hour from my home in N phx!
