2 months drawing a Jaguar with charcoal pencils + doing random things

- I started this commissioned drawing on October 13th 2020 and completed on the 14th of December.
I completely forgot to get the finished shots on my camera in the excitement of wrapping it up and sending it off - hence the terrible iPhone shots :(

Thanks Carly for letting me into your studio! My Dad was a great artist. When I was about three years old he'd sit with pad and pencil and ask me what I wanted him to draw. To my amazement and delight, everything I chose rapidly appeared in perfect detail like a photograph. That's how I feel watching you Carly. I'm a kid again at 67. It's beautiful magic you perform and you seem the perfect conduit.

Actually, I run your videos like this one while I work on my own stuff (comic strips - inking, coloring, shading), because it's soothing and it forces my to look up from my pen display on occasion to see what you're doing, which keeps my own eyes from burning.
Only problem is that I miss bits, so I have to re-run your video, because you’re so interesting to watch and your work is pretty f'in' amazing.
Thanks for keeping me from going blind.

Hi Carly. I was absolutely facinated to watch this video! Thank you so much for sharing so much of your art, technique, and talent! I want to share something with you for mailing/shipping your art work, Carpet Tubes, yes I was a carpet layer/fitter for 30 years and so many times people would ask me to save the hard cardboard tubes that the carpet was rolled on for various things like mailin blue prints. These are very hard carboard and won't bend, (most of the time, where there is an idiot there is a way) and they will protect your precious artwork very well. Looking forward to learning more from you!

First: you are an amazing and very talented person. Second: If I could tell you what I think of the painting. I think the face is a little wider than the jaw and The right hind leg is less wide than the top.. Third: It may all be due to the viewing angle of the video .. But I enjoyed watching you I wish you more success , Insha'Allah
