Zinc Electroplating in Acidic Bath has benefits like High Efficiency, Fast Electrodeposition Rate, and Superior Cover Power.
At CoatPro, Acidic Zinc Plating is performed in an automated tank which also involves 5 Stage Pre-Treatment.
Pre-Treatment:
1. Manual Cleaning - Removal of any foreign macroparticles
2. Soak Cleaning - Removal of Oil/Grease/Dirt
3. Anodic Cleaning - Electrolytic removal of Oil/Grease/Dirt
4. Acid Pickling - De-Rusting of the surface
5. Ultrasonic Cleaning - Ensuring clean surface and contamination removal
Passivation:
Tri-Valent Passivation gives additional life and color appearance to the part:
1. Tri-Valent Blue/Silver Passivation
2. Tri-Valent Yellow Passivation
3. Tri-Valent Iridescent Passivation
Top-Coat Sealer can be applied in order to achieve greater salt spray life.
All baths are meticulously monitored for their optimum temperature, pH, concentrations, etc.
Post-Plating Baking & Hydrogen De-Embrittlement is performed for embrittlement relief and to ensure the bonding of all the layers of coating.
Salt Spray Testing is performed to verify the part life according to the design requirements.
