I bought the node MCU board but it didn't come with a usb cable. Can I use any usb cable to connect my laptop with the board? Or is there is special type of cable needed?
I'm sorry I dont understand abaout the resistor. can i know what kind of resistor you are using? the colors used are different in your video. Does the resistor need to follow the color shown in the video? if you don't mind, can you please link the resistor picture to me. thank you in advance
You can use 220 ohm resistor with LED. This resistor is used to protect LED from high current. You may use any low value resistor with LED. You can watch my video on how to use LED in my playlist.

You can use any micro usb cable, even your mobile charger micro usb cable will also work.
