Hanging on to the last of the OG Meltonian jars my father gave to me, I just love this stuff. Once it’s gone I’ll have no choice but to change! :/

What was the "wrong idea" that people may have gotten from the previous video? 🤔

Many thanks Cobbler Plus Inc. l look forward to the Kelly’s Shoe Cream review. Hopefully it’s good for someone just starting out. Just ordered a lot of it along with some Lincoln Polish. Wanted Saphir, could only afford Kelly’s and Lincoln.

Kelly's and Lincoln are both good products that do their jobs well!

Just get the saphir medaille d'or, it's just a couple bucks more and worth it

@@bassheadlife492 The Beute de Cuir line is just a couple dollars more than Kelly's, but the medaille d'or has a pretty big price jump. I don't really think it's worth it for someone on a budget.

Hi would you recommend angelus wax polish or SAPHIR Beaute du Cuir Wax Shoe Polish

    • @gaucholaw1
      @gaucholaw1 ปีที่แล้ว

I get good results with Angelus. I get a better shine than I do with Saphir Pate Lux wax.

have you tried Boot Black products, Japanese high end shoecare? They have amazing products, something with argan oil to moisturize suede, it's amazing.

Nice vid. I have never had issue using Kelly's

Same, most of my shoe creams are from Kelly’s. They are cheep yet dose their job well. Of course saphir is better when it comes to water resistance and shine but I’m not willing to spend the amount of money on every color that I need. Plus I use wax afterwards anyway so imo using saphir is not really necessary

The Tarrago samples were noticeably uneven. I’m assuming it absorbs too quickly to allow for an even distribution. Very helpful video. Thank you!

Saphir shoe cream with dye will absolutely change the color of your shoes.

I think this test would have been better if all the cream polishes were the exact same colors, or as close as possible anyway.
A cream polish with black pigment in it is going to change the color appearance much easier than a different brand with let's say a light tan color.
    Edit:
My bad that's exactly what you did 😆.
I just heard you say they're all brown 😳🤷🤔.
That's crazy that they are so different in colors. I swear I thought the one of them was a shade of green.
    My apologies 👍.

Are any of the other Saphir browns less reddish than the dark brown?

Apparently...the new Meltonian, is not the same as the old Meltonian. I would like to know anyone who has experience with both...could give us their analysis. Plus...I have always heard...that the old Meltonian was better than Saphir. I somehow doubt that...but would like to hear someone experienced with both, to give their opinion. (Probably won't get a response from anyone...but I tried...lol). Thanks to anyone who does respond. Nice informative video...thanks for posting. I am in the process of deciding which creams/polishes...are best for me. Price point and quality...make the difference. I suspect...like most things...one gets, what one pays for. Thanks again.

In addition to calling Kelly's Tarrago, you called the old Meltonian the old Tarrago.
