i strongly believe Bugri Naabu recorded and released it to the public not 100 % sure though,i honestly dont know what his Agenda is,we all do agree that,Dampare is also a Ghanaian so it was ok he was appointed as IGP but politically it can sometimes be very Dangerous to appoint someone from the opposition party supporter AS SECURITY HEAD example was the appointed of Martin Amidu which later backfire on the face of President.according to the guy Dampare,s mother hail from Volta Region and Father Krobo so it was clear that he would be more of NDC than anything else so that in itself should told Nana to be wary of appointing such person as Head of security,such position in most cases be giving to someone u really can trust ,Although im 100% a GAINST any form of manipulation stealing ,election etc,Election should always be worn fairly and not by diabolic means,May God forbidde,my Only advice to Nana is to keep Dampare in that position at all cost for the interest of the State or Ghana

They disagreed with the choice of Dampare as IGP. Should we expect everyone to be happy with Dampare as IGP. Ken Agyapong has criticized Dampare for not doing much to prosecute JB Danquah's murder case. And why should we expect everyone to be happy with Nana Addo and his appointments It is part of a good democracy to allow people to agree and disagree. Ghana is not governed with autocracy for people to live in fear and suppression. The call by NDC and others for investigation is baseless. On whose interest and for what purpose. If some police officers think they should have been appointed IGP because they were senior to Dampare what is wrong. Don't they have the right to believe that long service and seniority should matter in promotion and appointments to the office in any organization? The president also has the right to appoint whoever fits his agenda. Why should ABC govt appt G. A. Who is from Omanasie as IGP when Omanasie people will vote for him with or without G. A. After all Speaker B.and others are from Omanasie. Certainly the Pres. Will appoint G. B as IGP who is from Obosomase to attract the votes from that area. It is an appointment made on sheer political calculation and not on competence nor seniority of long service. That is why they are politicians. It is a typical drama of politics where people and principles are sacrificed to suit political interests. The tape is an expression of opinion over political choice. It is true in life that opinion is free, choice is expensive and fact is sacred, The Prez will not change his decision as long as it fits his agenda. The opposition will also pretend to like the IGP as long as he is in office. They will remove him the following day after assuming office, if they win in 2024. The problem of the tape is not about the conversation. Everybody talks to assess the development of issues in their organization. The problem is who and why an usual friendly and private conversation was taped and leaked to the public . It is a breach of privacy and trust. It serves no purpose but a seed of mistrust and betrayal. It only shows that there is Judas Iscariot everywhere in any organization..
Some people think Bugri Naaba taped and leaked the conversation. Others think Mr Asare did it.. Whatever it is one of the two strongly appears to have done it. They appear inviting the third person into the conversation. It is reported that Bagbin and NDC asked for Parliamentary inquiry. They are not serious. They stop doing the work of parliament and go to court to support a person charged with committing a crime. They prefer to support a case of crime than to make a wild goose chase.. In any case there are so many versions of the police leaked tape. Which one is authentic and who makes the claim to any one of them to be considered authentic. It is claimed that the conversation of the tape is untended to remove IGP. Since when did a criticism of an authority become a crime to remove that authority from office. The BDC criticizes the President every minute. Is the President removed from the office and has the opposition been charged for their action? If Bagbin and NDC have no alternative policies to sell to voters in 2024 elections they should leave Ghanaians alone in peace.
