Too all the wonderful people here, thankyou for being here! the advice means wonders, and even if you werent one to leave advice, THANKYOU Aswell! More the merrier 😄
Always nice to see someone new dive into PoE. First of all it's fun watching you and hurts a bit here and there ;) I think the best advice to give you is => read item descriptions, that applies to consumables as well as skill and support gems. You actually get currency e.g. Orb of Transformation dropped so use them, there are orbs that turn white item into blue and also add affixes to items. That will be more life, mana, skill levels and so on. Very helpful. Btw. the game is called Path of Exile not Exiles.
If no one has mentioned yet: Hold shift while looking at an item to compare with what you have equipped. The skills explain how they work. So you can save a lot of confusion by reading them. (Don’t intend that to be rude, just giving info) The little grey icons on the overworld map list where they are when you hover over them. They are not always placed next to where they are(annoying) so check them to confirm where that item/event/etc actually is when looking at that map.
Nah that wasnt rude at all my guy thankyou for all this, ive been playing a bit on the side so all these tips are seriously, SUPER helpful! Youre a legend thankyou again!!
Welcome to Wraeclast, exile! Here's a couple pointers: On your passive tree you'll see bigger nodes with special names that are more powerful than the small points. It's pretty much always more effective to prioritize pathing towards these notables (you can search for "minion" or anything else you're looking for in the search bar). Items come in four different rarities. These are: Normal (white) - no modifiers Magic (blue) - 1 to 2 mods Rare (gold) - 3 to 6 mods Unique (orange) - has predetermined special modifiers specific to that unique You'll want to look for items with mods that compliment your build. For example: Additional spirit will allow you to summon more permanent minions Life and energy shield to increase your hp pool Cast speed to use your abilities more often Resistances (very important!) to mitigate incoming damage types If you have any specific questions just reply here and I'll be happy to help. Have fun, it's great to have you :)
1- Ooooh right okay thats very handy to know! 2- Right! Ive been so used to other games rarities that i see blue and think its a rare haha 😅 3- Well this is the perfect time to ask, how DO i get more spirit, when I was playing a bit in my own time, I could not for the life of me figure out how to get more! Thankyou so much for all this, anything helps :D
@Wøoky616 spirit can roll on body armour and amulets, as well as a % increase on sceptres (this applies to the base 100 you get from the sceptre) also remember to quality up your sceptre if you get a good one. There's also two more quests later on that give you more
@@Wøoky616 I really wanna give you *some* advice but I also wanna see if GGG's aim to make the game (PoE) more accessible to newcomers was achieved or not. Keep the videos coming and I hope your channel grows wider in the days/months to come. :) One thing though - the runes you'll eventually pick up will come in handy to fix your character's resistance(s) as each boss normally deals a specific element type and having resistance for that element will lower their damage to you. This may or may not allow you to face tank bosses... Anyway, I just felt that was something that a lot of newbies missed as it wasn't all that obvious to an absolutely new player.
@@kashashk 1• Hahaha, well I'll happily take the role as the test rat for this 😁 2• Thankyou so much for the kind words man! I didn't realise how kind the poe community truly is, so many friendly and humble people have been commenting on this and its warmed my heart so much!! So thankyou again ☺️ 3• Omg thats definitely gonna help! I came across my first boss that actually felt along the lines of 'elden ring difficulty' probably cause I'm still extremely new and getting used to everything, but it wasn't like, I could run around, and pew pew my way to the win, nah.. I had to fully lock in, and what did that do? It's made me connect more with this specimen of a game, I hate mindless clicking games. But knowing I can get a bit of "help" from those runes will definitely be a bonus 4• No no, I fully appreciate this!! Thankyou for your wisdom, all wise one 🙇 And thankyou for spending the time to type all that haha 😆☺️
Don't take all the nodes in the passive tree in the front. Look at a couple of build guides on mobalytics or maxroll just to get a feel. that outer attribute node is completely useless.

Thankyou so much! Feel free to leave any advice you want to, or just any pointers! If I do come across any obstacles ill definitely ask if needed 😎
I have a lot of advice but its funny to see you figure it out. One important thing try Tab for a bigger map
NO WAY ITS TAB!!!! I KEPT PRESSING M FROM INSTINCT AND WAS GETTING SO CONFUSED!! THANKYOU!
The Skeletal Snipers get a poison gas cloud move you can put on your skill bar and activate at your cursor.
OOOOOO!! I definitely want that!
