Texas State Railroad #400 rolls out of the Palestine shop for the first in 22 years as #400 to celebrate her arrival at the railroad 50 years ago! A group of guys pitched in to recreate #400 back to her former glory.

Such amazing celebration great to see my old friend wearing the number when I first met her back in the 90s even though the front appearance was different as when I met 400 she had her headlight centered in the middle of her smoke box front but very great to see my third oldest friend in steam locomotion wearing her Older Texas State Railroad number celebrating the Railroad’s 50th anniversary in grand style

How do you find the schedule for the TSRR? The website only seems to say the departure time, so do you just get there an hour before then? I try and visit as often as i can but i always have the worst luck, and always end up just seeing it leave.
