I like the idea of boggers as others have said. I also think a commonrail swap would be pretty cool.
I love 12 valves but you already have one awesome truck that can't really be topped so I think you need to put the 05's engine in there but that's probably already the plan.
I think building it till you max out the ve pump then do a detailed set of videos showing what you need to pump swap it and how to do it
Definitely a show truck!!! Clean that engine bay up add some accents to the motor.
As a guy who works in bodyshop. I'd like to see paint protection film put on the front to protect it from rock chips

Looks good debadged, but missing the front reflector, and the two tone split trim makes the crease line shallower. Flares were always there, if it was a LE model in black plastic mind you like the split trim (but had chrome edging) The stainless gate panel is just as good as the original one. My parents special order one exactly like this one, a Black Long bed 5spd Getrag 6BT D250 in Oct of 91. They gifted it to a family friend with over 320k miles last year, one full repaint, original clutch, POSI 3.55
Overall, Black IS what these things look epic in. Keep them running, it's a Timex on wheels

Hear me out... 4wd g56 lifted 16 inches (air) with 30x16 American force CKH01 Morph Polished -112MM with 44 inch boggers . I wanna see a manual. Other 1st gen is built auto... also big polished single . Everything under the hood polished ...... you won't regret it other that cleaning time 😂😂👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 please live out my dream man haha.

No it won't. 5th gens have 3 alignment tabs, 4th gen are smooth open bore. Look at Genos garage caps to see the difference.

Hey Greg on my old first GEN my hood used to make that groaning noise going up and down and I even took a siphon sprayer us sprayed oil into the hinge and it didn’t stop it I’ll tell you what stopped it Amsoil has a ya metal protector and I use that and I sprayed it in there I mean I loaded it up and they’re good I know it looks like shit and everything but what are you gonna do you don’t hear that groaning noise when you’re open and close the hood you can always wipe it back down and wipe the surface of it off when you’re done anyway this is six in a row jim From Kennerdell Pennsylvania
