Great video. I would be interested in comparison to the chanel liquid shadows and sydney grace ones too. I have a holiday edition Chanel one that is sadly LE and love it and will be looking for a replacement at some point with a permanent range. Hope she restocks her lippies/liners at the same time of this launch so I can pick more of those up!
Hi Danielle, thanks for commenting! I haven’t tried the Sydney Grace ones but I have tried Chanel’s liquid eyeshadows and didn’t like them. They were a bit meh in my opinion, quite watery if I remember correctly and not so pigmented. With Lisa’s one, there’s just no comparison. The Stila Shimmer & Glow is most similar to it from products I have tried myself. I hope that helps! I’d normally say I’d be surprised if she didn’t do a lippie/ liner restock in time for Christmas, but I believe I read a comment on her IG, where someone asked about restocks of True Velvet lipsticks and I’m sure they answered “next year” 😅 If so, I hope it’ll be earlier in the year so you can treat yourself! Side note - I am truly devastated because I was planning to fly to London to attend Lisa's events later in December... but just last night the covid rules changes in UK due to the new variant, and I'd have to quarantine upon arrival which I obviously do not want to pay hotel for... so my dream of meeting Lisa and experiencing her makeup museum are crushed. Lisa is wearing Anjelica in her latest video and is interesting to compare, I can definitely tell how much stronger is the studio light and affecting the color. I honestly, would have loved to see each shade individually on the eyes on like a full swipe, not blended into each other. I really wanted to see how Bianca looks on the lids, only that shade. I know a lot of bloggers film in artificial light but I don’t like doing that and where possible, prefer natural light. It makes the biggest difference! Hello! I only have the matte Yeux paint so cannot compare the shimmery versions. With the matte, it wasn’t as long wearing as Lisa’s and smudged a little. I hope that helps! ♥️♥️♥️

Deborah, have you tried the Sydney Grace liquid/cream eyeshadows? I wonder how these compare? I like the Lisa one. I have pretty much the whole range of SG shadows, so I'm really torn on these. I love Lisa's products, but I'm not sure I'll use these more than I use the SG shadows I have that I barely use.

Thank you for pointing out that it is a waste to buy more makeup, skin care etc, than you need. For me, it seems like, already very successful people are cashing in on the vulnerable at the moment. People are comfort buying because of the Covid-19 difficulties and I believe it’s in bad taste, especially as the amount of people who are now facing financial difficulties due to COVID-19. I’m not saying don’t treat yourself to whatever you want but don’t get sucked in, if it will leave you struggling. I honestly, would have loved to see each shade individually on the eyes on like a full swipe, not blended into each other. I really wanted to see how Bianca looks on the lids, only that shade. I hope maybe you will use it like that and post a picture on Instagram. xo
I thought she was, thanks for confirming! It was stunning on her but like you said lighting is a factor! I know a lot of bloggers film in artificial light but I don’t like doing that and where possible, prefer natural light. It makes the biggest difference!

How do they compare with the yeux paints?
Hello! I only have the matte Yeux paint so cannot compare the shimmery versions. With the matte, it wasn’t as long wearing as Lisa’s and smudged a little. I hope that helps! ♥️♥️♥️

Deborah, have you tried the Sydney Grace liquid/cream eyeshadows? I wonder how these compare? I like the Lisa one. I have pretty much the whole range of SG shadows, so I'm really torn on these. Thank you for pointing out that it is a waste to buy more makeup, skin care etc, than you need. For me, it seems like, already very successful people are cashing in on the vulnerable at the moment. People are comfort buying because of the Covid-19 difficulties and I believe it’s in bad taste, especially as the amount of people who are now facing financial difficulties due to COVID-19. I’m not saying don’t treat yourself to whatever you want but don’t get sucked in, if it will leave you struggling. Yes they’re beautiful but I can guarantee that they will be a new hype out every month.
