- Welcome listeners. Today's home recording is a short loop that I made for housework, cleaning, cooking, etc! :)
All instruments were played on my guitar with a Fishman Tripleplay MIDI pickup. No fixed tempo, and no drums allows for a free-form performance. The first loop made was the Harp and all instruments were played along with it. Hope it finds you well. -Jim

I was once sent a soundtrack as a gift, Zbigniew Preisner Mouvements du desir. I really enjoyed it so I searched for all of his soundtracks and enjoyed them. These are typically French films, so I don’t understand them but with subtitles I watched them. One of these is Rouge, from the Three Colors trilogy. The track called Today Is My Birthday was the source inspiration. I know, it’s a bit of a stretch, but one of the few composers who is not afraid of the Harp.

This sounds awesome Jim. That Fishman MIDI pickup does a great job tracking and is perfect with the CineHarp
I have no other device and have never really practiced Piano. So I’m only proficient with guitar. What I enjoy the most is the sensitivity, and how it translates to velocity. This is further enhanced with orchestrated music using the expression controllers, swells.
Thought of you when making this Colin, I wanted to make sure the Harp featured. It’s a powerful plugin, incredible control over dynamic range, so you can really dial in the feel without resorting to expression controllers.
