@connor stead Radon is a name of Radiation and during 1956, they decided to rename the Kaiju Rodan by only swapping the o and the a, Radon is still used as another alias for the Kaiju, the name Radon also does mean Radiation , so Rodan was a natural irradiated Kaiju.

Godzilla, mothra, Rodan, ghidorah and mechagodzilla are known as the toho monster stars because the appeared in all 3 toho Godzilla eras, (showa, heisei and mellenium) while anguirus did appear in the showa and mellenium era, he didn't appear in the heisei era
