I got mine over a year ago and just never carried it because the detent was just too weak. I finally got off my duff and sent it in for adjustment/repair (just before the lockdown). I did get it back and they did adjust the knife so it is better. the detent is stronger, but not snappy. And it does seem to have just the tiniest bit of lock stick. But I carry it now. And I love it. A good size for everyday use in office and datacenters without scaring customers. I did have to reprofile the blade because the factory edge was horrible. It was about 17 degrees on one side and 20 on the other. It took me about 4 hours to get it reprofiled to 20 on each side (20CV is a bear to work on).
It’s a great knife but if they put the same marbled CF on the other side an stopped the crazy amount of billboarding on the blade way more would sell In my opinion.
I'm beginning to wonder how knife design will evolve. This example is so much like many others of similar specification that the differences are negligable. Have designs reached their peak whereby the only choices for customers are price and materials? For example, the Kershaw Cryo is almost the exact same thing as the ZT0566 but with cheaper materials and a lower price. Are we getting to a stage where nothing is really 'new' any more?
The knife is a non starter. Too small , hands get in way of the frame lock and it will not open. I wish ZT would make good ol ZTs again. Yes I should have checked it out in person before obtaining it.
In my mind a perfect example of zt not listening to their customers unlike their Chinese competitors. Still billboarding worse than ever. The show side is fantastic as with most of their other knives, but when you flip it over the pleasure of looking at it is lost. A half naked look you might say. That style might have worked in yesterday's market, but not today. To really be competitive they need to step up their game especially at the price points their knives come in at. Lazy, blah half hearted production knife designs isn't going to get it. There are a lot better offerings out there for the hundreds of dollars we sometimes spend on these things. Just my opinion.

A mxg gear clip improves this knife in ergos and looks. I highly recommend. The way the clip sticks out gives the end of the handle more to hold on to

Too bad it's not a bolster lock with a nicer clip . The 0452 is still my favourite ZT designed by Sinkevitch and the only ZT i own .
