Yes, I would love to see you do a thrift competition. I just love when two people that I enjoy watching on the Internet show up together. I really enjoyed this, guys.
So glad that you chose to visit the Antique Market located at 700 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station! It’s been open for over 40 years, yet is somehow still LI’s best kept secret when it comes to antique shopping on Long Island! Come back anytime!
Sooo fun! Also, the quarter collector was legit a thing. And Sam, those sweet clamps would make a great light fixture, a simple bulb and cord wrapped around and hanging from the clamp. Loved your adventure, it made me smile and laugh!
I didn’t want to post again straight after but - red acrylic sunglasses! I’ve been to the USA once. When I was 21. I landed in LA and bought a pair I still have decades later. My mission was a trip to Mexico. So I saw ALL of my 4 days in the USA through red sunglasses. I feel it helped with the jet lag?? ( yes. I thought I looked cool. It was the 1990’s people!)
Those red glasses (maybe not heart shaped) are used by painters, called value-checkers, as a good way to check to see how your values are reading as you paint your art.😊
This gave me flashbacks. So - I’m from a small town in australia. My dad used to work as a clerk for a bookmaker at the horse races. The bookie had a house FULL of random antiques. I loved spending Sundays over there in the 1970’s, going through the whole house and finding treasures. It was so curated - I didn’t realise that when I was little, but he used to tell me the stories behind every object. I ended up studying history at university and working in antiques. (And now I manage a bookshop- I think it all came from that house). This episode gave me all the good feels.

Hey Danie - that D&D shirt is the cover of the 1983 D&D "Red Box" Edition. My mom bought me that set when I was 11 and the nerd in me was unleashed! :D
As a long time tabletop gamer, my partner has LOVED this artwork ever since it appeared on the cover of Dragon Magazine. After it was shown in the video I couldn't recall the title or artist's name but your comment gave me enough info to complete my online search, so thank you for sharing! For anyone wondering it's called "Basic D&D Ancient Red" by Larry Elmore!
I'm glad you and Sam had a great time. You very much needed a break. Great video. Love the Batman book. I have always loved Batman and Robin. Use to rush home from school to watch it every day.
12:30 my entire class would collect and trade quarters to try and get all the states. The history teacher even gave extra credit if you gave him one he didn't have. That was back in 2007😂
I'm so glad you both did a collaboration video together. That was so much fun to watch!! I say, Yes to you both doing a challenge in finding some furniture pieces to put those beautiful handles on. Those were such awesome finds you two. I love Connect Four. And the mobile light fixture was super pretty with all the different colors.
I had (/might still have if my parents haven't gotten rid of it) one of those state quarters sets! Lol I got the book at one of those Scholastic book fairs and my dad and I used to collect them. I think we even managed all 50! Definitely an American thing though of course lol
you two are hilarious together. yes. . . . thrift challenge on. would be nice to hang ceramic in your studio window so you can hear it "chime" in the breeze. cannot wait to see how you decide to outfit your creative space.
The little different colored dishes in the beginning with the little metal handles looked like ashtrays, when everyone had their own ashtray at a party, my guess anyway. The cabinet that you thought was cool with the stainless trim looked like a doctor's cabinet where they kept medicine and bandaids etc. My husband's Dr has one with old medical supplies displayed in it. A lot of cool things in those antique shops.
Love the energy you and Sam have together. I had some real laughable moments watching you. Yes, please do a flip to see who can "handle" it. I agree with stepping away from a project that is lengthy although you want to see it done it will be there after you get back from the break, ready to dive in again.
OH! How fun! Was actually thinking a few weeks ago about a collab w/Sam, as it has been awhile, and you have neen crazzzy busy!! PS: Almost forgot; I believe the little saucers with handles, that Danie said, she didn't know what they were, I am thinking individual cigarette ash trays. You could walk around and always have an ash tray handy, or holding it while you sit. Not certain, but that's what came to mind. Have a blessed day!! xxoo
That nude appeared to be shooting lightning from her nether region. Very poor judgement from the artist. Reminds me of a reality show where somebody described another person as always exuding rainbows and unicorns. Yes, euphemisms, but you get it. Still makes me laugh and it's been years. I bet these two cornballs would appreciate it. Look at what they were showing us!😂 Fun video. 😘🤗💖
Stopping mid-vid to say you should have bought that MTM CD. Saw the musical in Chicago years ago and laughed my a** off. You ladies might be just a tad young to catch all the humor but you’ll appreciate it someday. 😝😉
What a treat, a multiple boop episode with the dynamic duo! I want to be your weird friend too! I'm a wonder woman aficionado, so loving Danie 's shirt.
The object you used as a microphone is a telephone called Ericfon or Kobra and is from Sweden. Made by LM Ericsson from 1956 to 1982. Special collectible ones (depends on the colot) fetch a price for about $100.
Another awesome adventure with you two! I love how you always find the funniest stuff 😂 And isn’t it wild how antiques have their own little stories? I would have definitely bought that quirky lamp! 💡🙌
If there is no battery corrosion inside the wires of your bike then see if you have one blown bulb. Sometimes one will make the whole thing stop working.
That was a fun thrift adventure! I wish you would share the cost of each item, only the last few were; it's nice to know what thrift finds are going for in other areas, I'm in Florida.
Oh how I could have been the backseat driver third wheel on your adventures. I live in Huntington. Hanging with you would have definitely been a ✔️ on my bucket list of fun times!
If it wasn't weird, was it even a Danie + Sam adventure?
So true
The best of quirky!
If it's not weird is it worth doing? 😂
❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, I would love to see you do a thrift competition. I just love when two people that I enjoy watching on the Internet show up together. I really enjoyed this, guys.
An definitive yes for another collaboration thrift flip! It’d be so cool to see how both of your projects turn out with a similar core element 😇💜
So glad to see you taking a break and enjoying yourself!
thank you! I love spending time with my creative bestie
Definitely want a “who handled it the best challenge”.
I vote for this also! Though it doesn't have to be a competition -- just see what creative way each of them comes up with.
LOL “that escalated quickly” is exactly what I said - obsessed !
😂😂😂
The two goofballs are finally together again 😃🤣
So glad that you chose to visit the Antique Market located at 700 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station! It’s been open for over 40 years, yet is somehow still LI’s best kept secret when it comes to antique shopping on Long Island! Come back anytime!
I love when you do collaborative videos. So yes to the handles challenge ❤
It got weird so fast I wasn't ready😅
0:48 Sam keeps watching to make sure Danie is okay. You two are so fun!
Sooo fun! Also, the quarter collector was legit a thing. And Sam, those sweet clamps would make a great light fixture, a simple bulb and cord wrapped around and hanging from the clamp. Loved your adventure, it made me smile and laugh!
Yes we all did the state quarter collecting! But then they went off the deep end with putting out so many other collections and I gave up. 😅
I didn’t want to post again straight after but - red acrylic sunglasses!

I was binging your old videos waiting for this video! 💙💙💙 My 4 year old niece loves the "boop" and keeps booping me.
I love just seeing you hang out and have fun and just enjoy your friendship! It's a mental break for us as well!
Those red glasses (maybe not heart shaped) are used by painters, called value-checkers, as a good way to check to see how your values are reading as you paint your art.😊
Yes to the “Who Handled It?” Competition! 🎉
This gave me flashbacks.

You too ladies rocket I love when you guys get together to creativity and the fun in the positive energy flows through the videos
I think you meant, “Rock It,” not Rocket.
The shoe looking things at three minutes are brass stirrups (for saddles)
Alway love it why my DIY's get together for a weekend together. The drawer pull idea is great. Need to see it happen. Collab!!!
After watching this video I found the exact same brass looking “shoe?” At a vintage shop on the Oregon coast. It was a set labeled as “stirrups “
Any collaboration between you is much appreciated. 😊
A big yes for rhe thrift competition!
The mobile is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great finds girls!
This have me flashbacks.

The best fighting crime duo!
The colourful mobile is a ceramic wind chime! Would look so dreamy in the garden
Love seeing you both being your magikal goofy selves! ❤❤
12:30 my entire class would collect and trade quarters to try and get all the states. The history teacher even gave extra credit if you gave him one he didn't have. That was back in 2007😂
11:51 Well... That's funny 😂 it's a license plate from the city next to where I live 😊
Dani you can use the mini cabinet for a miniature settings.
Oh yes, please! Do a thrift competition. Can't wait to see what you gals create!

The first store is amazing with a fabulous vintage inventory! It’s called the Vintage Living and is based in Oceanside NY!
Love when you two get together! It's so good for both of you and we love coming along on 🎉❤😂your adventures!
A thrift competition would be fun!! Glad you got to spend some time off from projects to recharge.

It’s important to regroup, and enjoy life with a friend. So happy you guys have each other. Have a great week.🫶🏼
12:30 Danie, The Mint here in Winnipeg did one for all of Canada - I got one when I graduated high school.
5:04 If you would have picked up that book on modern art then you would know more about Brad. Or really more about Roy. Roy Lichtenstein that is.
for sure for sure on the "who handled it best challenge"!
I could definitely handle a thrift comp, bring it on 💜

Loved this video. Friendship is wonderful! Please use the handles and do a challenge. We are all here for it on both channels!

“You don’t have any friends!”
Danie, don’t attack us like that 😂
She said that to Sam, making a joke, not to Danie and friends.
