What a great step-by-step tutorial for decorating a Christmas tree to look like it was done by a professional. By both telling us and showing us, you have given us the knowledge needed to create a tree we can be proud to share with our families and friends. And taken one technique at a time, the process is really quite simple. I also appreciated your ability to explain various ways to tweak the process of utilising the ribbon to achieve the most desirable affect, based on the size, shape, etc of each individual tree. This is truly one of the most well-done how-to videos I’ve ever seen. Last night I decorated the first of three trees I will have this season, using the techniques you shared in this video and it turned out beautifully. It is the stuff of which memories are made. I think this is absolutely GORGEOUS that being said I long for the days of mismatched branches, uneven decor and just plain fun! Drinking hot chocolate / wine, cursing the tangled lights and fighting with the oh so tangled garland.

Thank you for the ideas and straightforward explanation. We just purchased a new 9 ft slimmer tree for our space and I’d like to try some new techniques. I’ve always wrapped tulle around the tree but I like the vertical ribbon and will use that. Also thank you for telling me how much ribbon to buy because I thought I had enough and now realize that I don’t. It’s better to know that before you start rather than run out in the middle of decorating. Wishing you a merry Christmas and thanks again

It's an absolutely gorgeous tree - those lights! LOVE! And I'm sure it cost more than all the artificial trees I've purchased over the last 40 years plus. Same for the decorations. Gorgeous, but most definitely not for a person on a modest budget!

The lights add so much dimension. People usually just buy one kind of light for their tree. I always add at least 3 different sets for my tree. Usually a soft small globe light, then the regular size light and then a tiny twinkle light. Mixing the 3 is so stunning on a Christmas tree.

This tree is beautiful. If anyone's struggling with ribbon at the beginning, there's easier ways to do it. Just make a two bow ribbon and twist at the bottom and place all over the tree, you get exactly the same effect at the end.

That is really great that you repeat the same steps over and over on the videos it does help people to really get the steps right to do a great job and have a gorgeous tree like that. Anyways, I have also been watching El Armario HN, Channel around Nov they teach us how to do xmas trees but they start with branches and more floral and ribbon and decorations. Is in Spanish from Honduras but, you can check them out. I told them to check you guys out too. they speak English too.
I did not plan to spend money on my christmas tree but now I am heading to the store and buy more ribbons and picks.

This is what I will have this year ,a Glam Flocked Christmas tree. Hubby loves it when I decorate our place to whatever I want,he just sits back ,watch tv and comes over when I call out for help .
We have this theme on a flocked tree in our retail store and I just love that combination!

Wow...so glad I found your channel! You are really only one of the two designers I have ever come across that explains things so well, and actually simplifies the decorating process so it does not seem as daunting for us non-professionals.
Having used the word "simplify" in no way means your designs look simple, on the contrary, you achieve such a gorgeous, elegant and show-stopping look. I truly feel that I can possibly re-create this on my new 9ft tree to the point that my family and friends will think I had a pro decorate my tree.
