It works though it seems a little shaky through the footage. The suspension and force distribution don't seem to be that great. Also, base on where you live, the Summer days can be very hot, which might melt those tires. Well, it's just a concept.
They are made of hot glue sticks and look like the good ones the cheap ones the ones that everyone use with the glue gun start to melt at 120°c but the industrial good ones start to melt at almost 200°c. So that's impossible to be melt by the hot wheater
Tried solid Tannus tires on my bike for a couple of seasons. Ended breaking the back wheel pivot screw twice, zero suspension. Lasted for more than 4 years though, and removed them literally squared. Solid glue tires? Ehm.... no thanks.
No more flats I like that. Though I wonder how it would fair in the summer sun. Also would be best to have suspensions on the bike or you will feel every bump!
Awesome idea but I think a better implementation would be to use silicone or a silicone blend. Softer ride and no melting problems on sunny hot asphalt! Then maybe studded for longer wear and better traction on ice/clay type surfaces. You could even play around with different stud materials.
3 most difficult things to do in the world: You can’t count your hair. You can’t wash your eyes with soap. You can’t breathe when your tongue is out. Now please put your tongue back inside.
Inflatable tube also work as Suspension so if there's no suspension you're gonna start chewing through bike spokes like crazy. I had tanis tires on my first E-Bike and had to replace two or three spokes a week.
This would be a great ride for about 10 minutes in the springtime, though with the way hot glue hardens and cracks with zero traction compared to a regular tire, expect to eat concrete if you try to make this at home.
Glue stick rubber has surprisingly good wear resistance. I would bet these would last quite a while, and would be easy to rejuvenate by adding new glue, though you may have to melt the surface to get good adhesion.
Really cool! One thing that might make this better is making the tyres out of the same type of resing skateboard wheels are made out of. There are DIY guides on how to make those yourself, enough source material to get it right.
I think that type of wheels is slipery unless you used 4 wheels. But interesting idea, would love to see that 😂 It probably gonna crush his ball if he gonna ride down stair or pothole because zero impact absorption.
Great video! But there is a reason why pneumatic tires exist and are better than solid rubber. You simply can’t get the suspension, traction, and handling out of a solid tire that you can a pneumatic one.
Sometimes i wonder what the locals think anytime they see this guy riding around on a bike with some crazy tires or crazy construction.
Who knows lol
Thats a brilliant thought ☝️
Me too
I would think he crazy
They would get inspired to pass on a story down the generations about a legend who didn't take no for an answer but came up with his own solutions!!!!

imagine it’s a really hot day and you are in a rush but your bike got stuck on the ground😅🐸
Hey boss I can’t come in my bike is glued to the floor
I was glued to your video! Those tires stuck to the road!
I've always wonder what he does with all of his bikes
These tires are going to ride really hard, and you'll feel every bump, even the small ones. There's a reason we have air filled tires.
Also, probably grip is not well
Everything i try to dream up envolving Plastic support and rubber tread keeps reminding me of how runners shoes get delaminated from hard use
I can't imagine a wheel made like this lasting too long. Can see the tires wearing down quicker than normal tires.
I was thinking the same thing. Sure, nails and tacks can't harm them, but those tires will likely wear down pretty fast IMO.
The grip is probably 0 lol
@@anth0ny_unplugged173 sure
probably more expencive too lol

Although weight might be a problem, maybe mix in styrofoam beads, or go with expanded foam?
reinventing air filled tyre?

riding this during a hot summer day would be a challenge!
Glue sticks are basically epoxy. You just made an epoxy tire.
Let's show The Q how much we love him, shall we? ❤️💛🧡
This is such more work than necessary
Now thats a legit life hack
Never in my life would I have thought I would see someone melt a pot of hot glue
you can add a RGB light of tire inside then its looks like a extreme tyre
Bu adam yapiyor bu sporu
This guy's channel is probably best i've seen in terms of implementing cool and crazy ideas
CONCORDO AMIGO
But impractical... Those tires don't have a chance on hot days and no grip.
Next time make the glue tires of a car!!! Excited to see it!
A working wareant is only hard to drive. As a child, we used to transfer bicycles to hoses with a lack of cameras 😁
I wonder if you're riding this bicycle on very hot days on hot asphalt, would the tyres start to melt?
It is cool, but I would still use the tyre for protection, but with hotglue as filling. It looks like an normal wheel, but it is nearly unbreakable.
This project is so cool
Great Innovation 👏👏👏👏
The amount of EFFORT 😂
Still really dope tho 👌 cool idea

Цена высокая, тогда из пластика дешевле выйдет. Клей стирается от нагрузок , лучше каучук прозрачный использовать .
I remember having some solid rubber tires on a bike back in the 70's they were ruff but they never went flat.
Creativity is mind blowing
well, let's hope, the summer isn't that hot again ^^
how about putting hot glue inside the tire. instead pf air. for durability purposes
Grip goes BRRRRRR....
Protect for sunlight but this is amazing😂😂😂
Just don't take it out of a hot day and store it in the freezer and you're gold.
Cool...is this practical tho?

I like this
Good luck riding that on hot summer day on a hot asphalt, fail. Also, it will wear out like 50 times faster than regular tire.
Agreed. Can't wait till he does a fat-tire version.
the wheels are slippery, it's unreliable.
The casting mold is by the price of an entire tire... Or several tires
Incredible job with this wheels, put this type of tyres and later do this test, is fantastic.
