It made me so happy that you got those gifts for your parents. It’s quite literally my life goal to be able to do that. My parents came to the US from Mexico in their late teens and early 20’s!!! To a country where they didn’t know the language to provide for their families back home. They met and had 5 kids (My twin sister and I are the youngest) and gave us everything we would ever need. We never knew that they struggled or why we didn’t go to the movies or go out to eat. They always just said oh we can watch one here or but look we can make your favorite. My dad didn’t finish middle school cause he had to work and in September I’m going to be starting my last year of university. That’s insane, to get a good job and be able to do that. Congratulations on everything, to be able to do whatever you want with your life, time, and money. Wow!!
Btw, not a sad story but I just think they deserve the world. I just know that I would not be able to do what they did and I appreciate them.
