Dang. 7 years ago. I still vividly remember my best friend pressuring me so hard to get the game for my 3DS. I remember us walking to GameStop after school so I could buy it. I remember having Smash Tournaments on so many bus rides. It's almost impossible to believe that we're so far from that time. This game and the 6th generation Pokemon games pretty much defined high school for me and my friends. If we weren't busy with actual schoolwork or band stuff, you'd best believe we were on our 3DS's battling it out in Smash. Were we geeks? Yes. Did we have the times of our lives? Absolutely. Do I wish I could go back? Not always, but hearing this music takes me back to a much simpler time that I didn't realize I would miss.
I remember my days. I'd go online and play For Fun back in 2017 and I'd play as characters like Duck Hunt and Falco before I tried For Glory some time later, even though I got the game back in 2015.
God, I remember being one of the few people at my college getting the smash 4 demo 2 weeks early. Cause I was attending an art school (School of Visual Arts) Almost everyone in my animation class wanted to play on my 3DS to try the game out for themselves!! Good times!!! I miss the Smash 4 and Pokemon ORAS days!!
It really must have been a long time since I've played Smash 4, cuz my Game Card just fucking rotted. Legit, it was corroded and my save data is now gone. Smash 3DS was my first Smash game, and I miss it even more now that my stuff is gone... Hopefully I can find a new sealed copy soon...
