    That's super correctly Mansour ..
About the length of strings ,means from the nose to the bridge there's 3 styles :
Turkish style is: 19cm for the neck length.
    Iraqi style is : 19-19.5 cm =============.
Eastern arabic is 20-20.5 cm ==========.
About me : I like 20.5 cm length of neck >> ALL: should be 1/3 neck to full strength of strings length '
mean if neck 20 cm the full strength shoule be 60cm.
as I said : Always you did very well Mansour .

Personally I was very into 58.5 (19.5 neck) recently, but now I'm gonna focus on 60cm for a while for some reasons. Thanks a lot for your great information you shared 👌❤️

I wonder what's the rationale/consideration behind the thickness distribution of the soundboard? i.e. why thicker towards the tail, and why 1.8, 2, 2, 1.8 ("diagonal") in the middle sections, which is very interesting. Thank you!

This one (instrument) that I was working on was a collaboration with another luthier from Egypt.
He was talking about some reasons in order to balance the sound color all over the soundboard. Honestly I didn't like the results but as far as I could understand, in the most string instruments (specially middle eastern), luthiers always play with soundboard thickness. But me also haven't clearly understand the effects yet 🙏
I will share anything I could find

@@mansouroud that's very interesting indeed... I've never imagined asymmetric thickness patterns, but now it seems to make sense, or at least worth experimenting. Thank you!

@abdumushuk2219 we need first to learn document our process.

By the way : It is the first time I see this grain of Cidar , rare for me 😇😇😇One of my oldest ouds have the same grain but I didn't know if it's Cidar wood 🤭🤭🤗🤗

Can you, please, in your next video explain the method of putting bridges ? The distances or the proportions
    Thank you

you mean the braces under the soundboard or the bridge?

@@mansouroud Yes please. How to find the right place to put them.
      thank you so much

@Ayyoub.Guelzim the bridge has a fix place. If you divide the length of the strings in 3 parts. First part is from the nut to the neck join, second part from the neck joint to center of the main hole, second part from the center of the main hole to the bridge. So it depends on the length of the strings you decide to have.
