Saw your video on Trelissick before we went on holiday researching it now! . Did it on your recommendation & we can honestly say it was one of the best walks we've ever had. You're right, there is a different view around every corner! We had to book online to go to Trelissick as members of the National Trust during these Covid times ,everybody distancing using hand gels, food served outside from the lovely Nat .Trust cafe buildings there. My cream tea came in a cardboard carton! The walk from the house to the beach there took my breath away with the wonderful view towards Falmouth. Thank you.

Brilliant! Its good to know that the National Trust are coping with the COVID thing, not at all easy at the mo! Its great that you enjoyed the walk too. one of my favourites, Sarah :)

I worked for the Copelands and with Barry Champion in the gardens. Happy memories.

We did this beautiful walk today plus around a further 4 miles on public footpaths. Agree with Andrew - need to chop down the trees to make the river more visible. And loved the "rubbish baskets". Its great seeing the things you have video'd - it's like, oh yes, I remember seeing that! It gives a real connection with the route. Sadly ran out of time for Charlestown and Mevagissey but on a positive note, John had success on the pasty quest. We are now in Looe and plan to incorporate your Polperro walk in a serious hike tomorrow! Wish we had more time here as your walks are such an inspiration and we would love to do more.

OMG! I am so happy we have inspired you - that's why we wanted to set up the channel, try and get people out walking to parts of Cornwall they maybe don't feel confident to venture, seeing it first makes it easier!! The Polperro walk is great and I can't wait to walk the other way to Talland Bay, explore the smuggler story. This evening we went to our local beach and watched the sunset with the dramatic seas churning around, absolutely glorious!! I hope the weather stays dry for you tomorrow and you find more pasties :) Sarah

A couple of years ago, we actually did that walk in the opposite direction starting by going through the gardens and very nice it was too. There was a herd of cows blocking the path by the wall at the beach and we almost turned back. I carefully tested them out and found thet they weren't interested in people, they just stared at us as we walked through the middle of them.
