    for the power strokes do you need to keep your head down?
    i understand when regular paddling you keep your head up, do you change it?

    • @puravidaadventuressurfyoga9877
      @puravidaadventuressurfyoga9877  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't because I have developed my back muscles to hold me up right. I did in the beginning because it hurt my kneck. I would try to keep your head up.

    My husband said that I have no paddle power and my surfing career will depend on tow and push 🤣 But I did paddle 1 km 🤔 to a beach break because the point break was too big. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @puravidaadventuressurfyoga9877
      @puravidaadventuressurfyoga9877  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can do it! Make sure your surfboard is not too small for you. Longboards are much easier to paddle and catch waves on than shortboards. This is key! You can find out more about our surfing program at www.puravidaadventures.com. We're hoping to reopen our Costa Rica retreat in November, and we offer private lessons too. Come learn to surf with us!
