downloaded, transferred to car. car wont prompt to install... app says ready to install, continue in car...no notification. recurring problem
same did you find out how to fix it

Similar issue - my 23 X5 no longer prompts to install; but only after I ignored the message for a month.
When manually selecting the remote upgrade option in the car, it tells me it will let me know when it's ready, but never does. Reloaded phone app, reset network passoword & BMW logins no joy.
Thank you for your video. I have a 2019 BMW X7 drive 50i with the M sports package. I get stuck at step 3 - the in car installation. I get the message that the car needs to cool down (for about 30 minutes) before I can begin installation. I read in the MyBMW app that this is normal for M versions. It says it will inform me when I can begin installing the update the next time I enter the vehicle. But that notice in the car screen never comes. So the software is transferred to the vehicle waiting to be installed but I never get the notice that it is ready to be installed. Any tips on how to overcome this problem and install the update in the vehicle? Thank you!
Same problem in my car ,Step 3 is stuck and the download has not been completed yet. I already Contact the agent to solve the problem and we will see what they can do
@@JarrahAlZaidso did u get your answer, I am also stuck on step 3 . Remote update software ready to install came up on screen twice and I tried to install but when I came back after 30 mins nothing happened and still waiting for that message again to install it .

Yes, I went to the agency and they downloaded the update. The X6 car needed many hours to finish the update. The surprise is that more than one car had the same problem, one of which was the latest version of the 7 Series.
I’m having the same issue on my x7. It says the engine needs to cool and I’ll be notified when I get back in but it never does.

This video applies if everything works as it is supposed to, doesn’t help at all for issues that occur if the update process doesn’t work as dicumented.
