The entertainment factor of Cam giving the freezer tour was solid gold. Would love to see him in future trying to explain what you do with everything in thr pantries!😂
Haha!! There are Cam's green beans, lol. Remember that? I do!! I love how organized everything is, and the care and attention to detail you all put into everything. Thank you so much for the video and for all of your hard work.
Praying and hoping for the day when we can have a pantry full of preserved food for our family! what a beautiful blessing and reminder of all the hard work your family has put in!
It has always been my dream to have a pantry that you have! The absolute WORK to accomplish your lifestyle is highly commendable. Congratulations on the new baby!
I love the shelf labels. I had actually been thinking of something similar. After seeing how yours looked, I will move forward with my version. Thanks for the tour.
Love the pantry! There’s just something beautiful about a pantry full of home preserved food. Cam is so funny. He reminds me of my own precious hubby of 51 years. Funny, smart, capable, and cute. I laughed out loud at the video he posted while you were in France, Becky. Today’s video was the same. Eagerly awaiting the arrival of your newest addition. You look fantastic!
Cam and Becky you work well together and by the way what a wonderful idea. Becky I have made the Candied ginger as well, out of the (test kitchen dying cookbook) it turns out well and lasted me a long time.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to my favorite TH-cam family. Boy, y'all have been busy. May God bless y'all and fill your hearts with JOY in 2025
You could write down how many jars you put away of that item, and if you run out early then you could add for example a +2 or something next to the number so when you go to make it the next year you know how many more you need to make
Do you ever have mystery nights for dinner? Like let’s open the freezer and eat some oysters items? Looking forward to the arrival of your new baby. You all look like you are all doing well. Your channel is my favorite. I love seeing such a beautifully stocked pantry. The only home canned items in mine are apple sauce and jams and jellies. I need to up my gardening game. ( irrigation problems) Walking in to an empty pantry gives me anxiety. I think it is because when I was in high school we had a walk in pantry, but there was usually only a box of crackers and a box of cereal and maybe some flour and sugar in it. We never went hungry, but a full pantry makes me happy,
the squares soup that you weren't so keen on can be used as a filling or leveling in a pasta sauce or instead of flour leveling I always do that with unsuccessful vegetable dishes I am allergic to starch in potatoes and wheat it gives me pain and eczema my method for an even is to dry excess vegetables and then blend it into a week's worth of vegetable flour at a time and add the flour to the food while stirring so it can rise absorb the liquid and smooth the dish. 😊😅 hugs from a Danish fan
Thanks for sharing this! I'm curious if you have any videos on how you organize/manage your food storage. We're in SLC and our extra food storage is in the basement. We don't have anywhere near as much as you all since we're not where we can garden very much. But I still find that even having one storage shelf (looks identical to yours) on another level, on the opposite end of the kitchen, makes it very difficult for me to stay on top of. Keeping it tidy isn't a problem, but knowing what all is down there and figuring out how and when to restock our upstairs pantry (which is in the kitchen) has been such a learning curve for me.
I love love love the chalkboard idea.... however, I would have suggested mini chalkboards on magnets -- so it's easier to move around & would make less work for you of course. Just a thought. 😅Anyways, it's still beautiful and I'm envious. 💚💚💚
Just a thought...you should have put the boards up higher to act as a barrier in case of an earth quake so you jars wouldn't slide off. Just found and subscribed to your channel. Cam's sense of humor got me.. Darling family!
What if you were to drill some type of hole I don't know what it's called where the screw went in and you could put a cap a black one. But before you put the cap over it you put a screw so it goes through on the other side so it'll go through the hole then what you do is you take some type of metal or wood put it through the hole on the other side after it goes through the front edge of the shelf and then you put like a nut at the end and that will hold the piece of wood in place. Or you can take one of those screws you stick in the wall and when you screw it in it spreads out and it spreads out so it makes like wings. And that will hold it in place and then you stick a cap to cover that hole. Either that or just paint the top of the screw
Is Cam always such a joker? How funny 😂 It looks like you are very nicely set up for winter 👍I was just thinking about you a little bit ago 😁 When do you think baby will come again? 🤔 I can't remember. You are such a wonderful family!!
I don’t know how it would work with watermelon juice however I have puréed watermelon in the past and made watermelon jam for my grandchildren. They love it. There’s also a recipe online which I use almost every year for vanilla cantaloupe jam, and it is amazing.
You can add a little ginger (and apple cider vinegar, which is optional) to the watermelon juice and have it as a drink, and it's very refreshing during the hot days. You can also add a sweetener of your choice if you so desire.
Great job!!! Love your videos!! I have a question… your freeze dried green beans… did you cook and season them first before freeze drying them ???? So they would be more a a seasoned snack ?? I have a goal of getting a freeze dryer ….. hopefully with in a few years….🤞 Thank you again!!!
You could always hide the garlic squash in chili, bbq sauce, make a squash based BBQ sauce, in a red lentil vegetable patty, or put a bit in pumpkin curries/desserts. Lovely pantry, thank you for sharing. 😊
Cam is a walking green flag. I love these updates!
The entertainment factor of Cam giving the freezer tour was solid gold. Would love to see him in future trying to explain what you do with everything in thr pantries!😂
Congratulations on having the cutest husband ever! He’s so sweet. The giggle, “I’m so happy we’re able to work on this together.” Just so sweet. ❤
Absolutely love it when Cam brings the dad jokes😂
You guys are really special and such a happy family to encourage all of us to do the best we can - it really makes me happy to watch.

"Mystery flavor on top" ... This is the way! So many things are just destined to become soup or chili one day... whatever they are!
Loved the thumbnail. Loved the labels. Loved the freezer tour! So good!
I love the shelf labels. I had actually been thinking of something similar. After seeing how yours looked, I will move forward with my version. Thanks for the tour.
Great work to both of you! I will also say Cam cracking himself up made me crack up also. So fun!
VERY COOL! that's a two-fer! Leftover wood reused, AND a great practical result.
I will forever have too much wood that will “always” get used someday, lol 😂
@@TheSeasonalHomestead Ahhh, you've seen my rack in the basement workshop. I know it will get used. Someday
I love your pantry shelf labels! Great idea.

I love the Amazon box holding stuff. I have some in my freezer to help with organization too!
Cam is so loving and giving
Love your enthusiasm about using wood you already have!
So impressive, Becky!
Love the new shelf labels! Looks amazing 👏 ❤
The chalk board label is such a great idea.
Looks so great with the new labels!!!!
👍
You guys this is so brilliant! And it looks so pretty also
Such a great idea for labeling your pantry items!
Your pantry with Cam’s addition is gorgeous. Now rest up as you’re going to need the energy once the new baby gets here.❤️❤️❤️
Omg why do I love this organisation so much, when you said you were using zipties I thought 🤔 but then the chalk paint came out 🎉🎉
I love those labels...
So cute and organized!! Nice job!! ♥️♥️♥️
My goodness I've been so excited waiting for this video!
Cam is so funny! Love the labels. Such a great idea.
You have inspired me to try the lemon squash, a bean & an Asian bean. All new to me, but trying. Just ordered seeds this morn.😁
As always your pantry is a source of inspiration! Thank you for sharing.
I just had to say your handwriting is perfect!

this looks SO nice.....really like this idea.
Very clever, great idea!
Loving the organization!
Very cool!!!! Makes it easy to grab. So smart!!!
Love you guys. Take care of each other Merry Christmas 🎄🕯️
Thank you for sharing. Take care and rest well.
The freezer tour made me lol!!!😂😂😂
Stuff, love it!
I was also not a fan of the stewed garlic squash....makes great worm food in the compost. It's OK. The rest of that book is pretty awesome.
The canned goods looks awesome!
Make watermelon lemonade with that watermelon juice…it is so good!!

You can use the watermelon juice as popsicles just put them in a mold freeze them and it's a healthy popsicle for the kids.

Yes! May upgrade to that if this current method doesn’t continue working 👍🏼👍🏼 -Cam
You can can fermented veggies? How do you keep fermented things stored? Beautiful pantry❤
The fermented veggies aren’t canned. The room stays close to refrigerator temperature so they are fine in there for a long time!
Just a thought...you should have put the boards up higher to act as a barrier in case of an earth quake so you jars wouldn't slide off. Just found and subscribed to your channel. Cam's sense of humor got me.. Darling family!

Wholesome sincere man giggle 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What an incredible accomplishment!

Baby will probably come in January sometime!
Maybe use the stewed garlic squash to make squash lasagna? Like a butternut squash lasagna but with your puree.
Looks beautiful!
Well great job! Well done!

I saw this from another TH-camr I follow. Squash in corn bread! th-cam.com/users/shortsd9T3uV3Y5RU?si=qyXe9XWAHRKbQiHK
Cam is a riot. Try to have some calm time while you can
Enjoyed the video
🇦🇺At first I thought you were putting up a board to stop anything from falling off the shelf.
Beautiful! Val C
Watermelon lemonade is delicious! Also, watermelon is an excellent natural electrolyte, great for labor and delivery.
I like this idea!!! Looks very neat!!!
I feel like some kind of watermelon mint drink with sparkling water needs to happen 😊
Haha love the laugh in the beginning :)
#pantry goals!!😍😍
Excellent idea.
