  • This is a little discussed symptom that seems to occur in quite a number of people with Parkinson’s. There’s a lot to read and research. I’ll be reporting back on how I tackle this. #parkinsons #youngonsetparkinsons #neurology #symptoms

I can definitely relate. Sudden things jolts my body, I don’t feel surprised or chocked mentally but my body has the physical reaction as if I did

Thank you for sharing. Recently diagnosed and this happens all the time. I had never heard anyone else describe this. so I dismissed it.

Funny you say that. I used to listen to rock music really loud but since PD sometimes it not a headache it like my brain is over stimulated.

This is the first time I’ve heard this discussed. I thought it was just something unique that I was experiencing. I told my Nurologist how any sudden noise causes what feels like an electric surge through my body. I got NO reaction from my doctor.
    Thanks for sharing this.

    I agree. Noises suck.
This explains a lot for me as a piano tuner...by the time I start tuning the high notes, I talk to myself and scream at the strings!
Soft jazz(Brazilian preferably) and classical music for me.
