In our last video for the Cloud Administrator course, we discussed what IAAS is. In this video, we will go through a PAAS walkthrough just to understand how PAAS is being used and why cloud administration professionals need to know about it. Most companies that were using the classic method of employing IIS or Apache for web servers are now transitioning to this method. Therefore, it is common for companies to expect a SysAdmin or cloud administrator to check, work with app services, create, and maintain them.
In some large companies, they keep the access under their control and give limited access to the client companies. So, you could be either working in the service provider where you do need to perform a lot of tasks inside app services or you might be an IT admin for a client company where you get limited access and perform specific tasks on app services, which is an example of PAAS
