Yes, definitely do the Guide to Dimash ! It is divided into 8 or 9 minute episodes so if you really wanted to you could fit the entire series in before you go to Budapest! So, OMIR, Dimash's prayer to life, dropped last May on his 29th birthday, and the live version is brand new. Dimash has one brother (Mansur, 17) and one sister (Raushan, 21 I think). Mansur goes to music school and Raushan is studying to be a doctor, although she has sung beautifully with Dimash (but finds the stage not her cup of tea!) You can see both of them in the music video for TOGETHER, the song Mansur composed when he was 15, and he and Dimash premiered at the Almaty concert.

Dimash (29) has 1 younger sister Raushan (22), and 1 younger brother Mansur (who just turned 17 last month). Super talented family. Their parents both sing. They are honored artists of Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 Their father has a smooth voice, their mother is an opera soprano, so there o wonder where they all got their talents from. Raushan also has a nice voice, but she is shy, so not like Dimash who possesses that unteachable charisma on stage. Mansur, who composed “Together” when he was 15, and Dimash debuted that song in his Almaty concert in 2022. In the MV, all 3 siblings were seen celebrating Mansur’s 16’s birthday. ❤

Lyrics are based on a poem by a Kazakh poet & based on a true story (too much to tell hear) It’s a true Zazakh folk song & shows how much Dimash loves (& shares with us) the history & love for his culture & country. The Bastau or Almaty versions are both incredible. Also, check out Be With Me music video. These are two Dimash extremes in the BEST way. I really liked stranger from Chinese tv show and he was sick and had to go to hospital after the show. It was interesting to see all the things he later used in The Story of One Sky.

Love your Dimash reactions and am so excited you are going to Budapest. I feel compelled to tell you the story of Daididau. All of his versions are wonderful, of course, but his version at Bastau is close to everyone's hearts and has a spectacular intro. It was his first ever solo concert..in front of 35,000 people. You will see a very young, thin Dimash ( he had been working himself very hard) who becomes emotional at the end. Like many of his songs Daididau, pronounced Deye dee dow, has a true, tragic backstory. There was a young couple whose parents would not allow to marry and they were married off to others. When both spouses died early they finally married. He was a poet and dissident who was imprisoned and tourtured and was eventually executed in the 1930s. To torture him they told him his wife was leaving him. He wrote a letter to her asking whether it was true....the lyrics of the song Daididau. Daididau was his nickname for hiswife. After his death she spent the rest of her life preserving his memory. It is one of Dimash's favorite songs.

Lyrics are based on a poem by a Kazakh poet & based on a true story (too much to tell hear) It’s a true Zazakh folk song & shows how much Dimash loves (& shares with us) the history & love for his culture & country. The Bastau or Almaty versions are both incredible. Also, check out Be With Me music video. These are two Dimash extremes in the BEST way. Indeed it s mandatory to know the importance of Daididau when you go to his concert. It s the song that goes way back to his very beginning even before SOS just like unforgettable day. These two are the grandmother and grandfather of Dimash songs.

The most grit and pain in the song correlated with the visuals of when he was betrayed by the dishonest show. It hurt him a lot. He was so happy too be in the USA, and the show celebrities acted so nice until that point.

No, it was composed before that. He debuted it in May, and his grandfather passed away in June. I am sure Dimash had a premonition.

I really liked stranger from Chinese tv show and he was sick and had to go to hospital after the show. It was interesting to see all the things he later used in The Story of One Sky.

Love your Dimash reactions and am so excited you are going to Budapest. I feel compelled to tell you the story of Daididau. All of his versions are wonderful, of course, but his version at Bastau is close to everyone's hearts and has a spectacular intro. It was his first ever solo concert..in front of 35,000 people. You will see a very young, thin Dimash ( he had been working himself very hard) who becomes emotional at the end. Like many of his songs Daididau, pronounced Deye dee dow, has a true, tragic backstory. There was a young couple whose parents would not allow to marry and they were married off to others. When both spouses died early they finally married. He was a poet and dissident who was imprisoned and tourtured and was eventually executed in the 1930s. To torture him they told him his wife was leaving him. He wrote a letter to her asking whether it was true....the lyrics of the song Daididau. Daididau was his nickname for hiswife. After his death she spent the rest of her life preserving his memory. It is one of Dimash's favorite songs.
