I honestly don’t understand why Iron Man 3 is so hated. It had super convincing CGI, and a great character arc for tony. People complained about him not being in the suit enough, I think that’s what makes it so great. Seeing what he can do with nothing but his wits and his brain made this really special. He would always be Iron Man, but this showed what he’s like as a vulnerable Tony Stark. I think it was a really smart decision. I really love this movie because it is one of the more story driven films in the MCU
Same here. I loved the fact that our tony was fearless enough to go to mandarin's place with some weapons made from hardware store supplies😂😂😂 what a smartass. We love you 3000.take away the suits, what am i. I am ironman. ❤️
@Ano Nymous Exactly. RDJ picked it up in Iron Man 1 (along with Jon Favreau, the VX team, the writers, etc). And then later when Avengers 1 came out, all the actors shared that load. I don’t think any of them was really much worse than the other in terms of acting ability or carrying the franchise. RDJ should get special recognition for doing a great job kicking it all off and getting ppl interested in superhero movies again.
@@mohammedyounes222 ya but at the moment for example when tony and pepper wears the suit and thr is like nothing thr, it really take imagination to make it looks like it.
I didn't realize how silly it looked without CGI. especially the parts where tony's in his helmet Props to rdj for making it look so awesome. ( surely he felt ridiculous at times?)
That's the thing about actors. Even if it can look ridiculous in that moment, the point is to imagine the end goal and do a great job acting to help make the end result a good one. Benedict Cumberbatch looked ridiculous acting as a dragon, but the look in the movie/show (I don't know the name) was great

Massive props to the CGI team and also good job for the actors and extras for acting in some shots when there is nothing! Like when War machine lands, there is nothing there. Pepper picking up something and obtaining something that's not there
There are many confusing VFX breakdown videos out there. This is by far the best edit to see clearer the before and after. Great job if it's your edit work.
After this you kinda realise how good of an actor he is. The shots of him in the armour and our must have been days apart and yet he gives such a convincing performance that he was actually hit and hurt
Wow...that skydiving scene was so damn difficult to act and synchronize the movement. And watching these, you will appreciate more how difficult it is to act without seeing the 'real things' under VFX background etc..
I think some actors today don't get enough credit. So much of movie making these days is green screen/CGI and these people have to act out scenes with people, objects, and background/scenery all missing. Some of them do an amazing job. And that sky dive scene, WOW.
Definitely love it when I see the armour being actual and worn for the top half of the body. The later ones definitely felt more CGI with the chestplate and shoulder armours only. Heck even some scenes with those props were edited heavily. I get they were trying for a more muscled proportions in later movies but it just doesn't feel right when RDJ has his head showing.
We did get enough of mark 85... The Snap. It was created to help Tony hold 6 infinity stones and perform the snap. The Mark 50 was the suit that really helped Tony to fight and get those actions.
0:33 I don't know why but this scene doesn't look like it's synced up properly with the effects, he stops falling before the propulsion goes on. They should have added more strings to his arms and legs as well to make it look more realistic. What do you think?

Actors have to be really imaginative to shoot such stuff. How do they do it if they cant even see it?
This is exactly how i always thought
Yeah it leaves me "hmmmmmm....."
They maybe do the 3d things first to get some image , then screen play (3d/cgi maybe a 50/50works just to get the image) idk just 2€ theory
