I loved Holiday in Handcuffs but I also loved A Very Merry Toy Store which I feel like doesn’t get enough attention! Such a great movie! Melissa you and Mario starring as the leads together that’s a recipe for success! Love you guys! Please do more together!
First of all, did anyone else notice how Melissa’s voice changes when she says Mario Lopez’s name? You know from the way she says it that he is a big deal. Second, how is it possible that he still looks exactly the same as he did back in his A.C. Slater days? He is going to be the next Rita Moreno, entertaining into his 90s and still a Hollywood heartthrob. Obviously he’s going to have to make a return appearance on the show so that he can help us tap into the fountain of youth. I especially love how he tries to incorporate his family into his projects so that he can be surrounded by them despite his busy schedule. Great segue by Amanda, by the way, as she led Mario from talking about making it light and fun on the set to telling us about fun things he binges; her interview skills were on point in today’s episode! Finally, it was a great touch of humour when Melissa asked Mario, “What is your favourite memory from ‘Holiday in Handcuffs’…that involves me?” It just shows what a nice relationship they have forged over the years.
