Barkley has always been funny. My favorite quote of his was when he was convincing Shaq to play for the US Olympic team in 1996. They were prepping for the Ol.ympics in Monte Carlo, I believe. Charles called Shaq (who was reluctant at first to say yes.) and said: "For 2 hours a day, we play and beat Angola by 80, then we go to the casino for the other 22 hours" With that logic, Shaq said yes.

To be honest, to say, "it's because I'm/he's/she's black," has been used so often, it has became a joke. Within the past 8 years, there has been an abundance of accusations that hold no water, so it became a running joke. Ive even heard white people say, "its because I'm white," as a way to poke fun of the overuse of racist accusations. I am glad that people have recognized the silliness of this saying because it shows that narrative that pushes racism isnt as bad as those people want it to be.

It's an interesting question. I love watching this team, but you know they are getting old, and some of the people at TNT probably want to bring in a younger group, try to attract some new viewers. Thing is, I stopped watching the NHL when the analyst quality went down, and there's the same risk for the NBA. You can change it up and get some new faces, but six months or a year later, your old viewers might walk away.

Im a huge fan of all the major 4 pro sports and this is the only pre/post game show I watch. The hosts are smart, funny, informative and entertaining. Chuck is able to get away with saying things no one else can. It helps on the east coast where I am that it’s on late at night. The people who work behind the scenes are great too. They are able to photoshop funny memes/highlights on a dime. They include many tweets fans come up with. During the postseason their coverage/analysis is 2nd to none as they are on just about every night!! Long live inside the NBA!!

Auburn basketball was in a poor state when Chuck was "recruited" (by whatever means they used) there, so I watched many games from front-row or near-front-row seats. I saw him *dominate* 7-foot players (i.e. UK's Sam Bowie and Mel Turpin) when he was GENEROUSLY described as 6-6.)
