Without sheer hard work, perseverance and unwavering commitment to his 'FON' (ART), one can't scale the Height Of Excellence that the great Mehdi Hassan Saab had scaled during his illustrious career spanning over almost six decades as a singer of exceptional merit ! He had a rare GOD-GIFTED ability to infuse life into any labz of the shayar owing to his magical voice and inimitable style of gayiki ! This ghazal was also not an exception ! Here, in this ghazal penned by the great Daag Dehlavi Saab, it was as if the beautiful kalam of the great Daag Dehlavi Saab had found its right expression in the magestic voice of the great Khan Saab ! What a wonderful bandish it was ! Hat's off to both of these stalwarts for this beautiful offering !
