I own one (black) and I can definitely say that it has the most comfortable ride in its segment as it is the only one with multi-link suspension at the back as opposed to all the others which are equipped with leaf springs. It's not a sedan or an SUV but it doesn't feel or ride like a traditional pickup at all. You also have to take into account a very important detail for car buyers, it is the CHEAPEST in its class but it has one of the most powerful engine. I actually haven't utilized the manual mode as I virtually have no need for it. If you consider what you get for the price, then I'd say that the Navara is indeed a bargain/good deal. The steering wheel is a bit heavy since it is meant to haul a ton of load if you have to, hence, stability in such situations must be considered. I mostly use mine as a daily driver in the province, mind you our home is up the mountains, and the truck enjoys them steep hills and rough terrains. I reviewed and tested several pickup trucks for at least a couple of months and my choices were down to Nissan, Ford or Toyota. I finally took one home last November 2018 - very happy with my decision.
@@juanvalera7272 I dare say that it probably is the cheapest to maintain. Seeing that sales for the unit since 2016 has been high (you can see this on the road as well where it is guaranteed that you'll see a Navara on your daily commute), the parts and accessories are very accessible and since there is an abundant supply, you can find them cheap or reasonably priced. On the PMS side, you'd be paying almost nothing for the first 2 (1thousand and 5 thousand km) and then it will be every 10 thousand km thereafter.
A.T.H. C. Ok bro thank you for your reply, ask kolang sana if ung top of the line ung sayo?if ung low end variant sya which is un ang balak namin ask ko sana if malinaw ang ilaw nya?at na try mo ba palitan nang bulbs nang headlight?gusto kolang kasi malaman if madali lang ang acces para mapalitan ang ilaw?ung iba kasi sa ilalalim or di kasya ang kamay mo para palitan ilaw..mawawala kaya ang warranty if palitan nang led bulbs ung original na bulbs nya which is halogen?thank you
Over all, wala akong modification or pinalitan (bulbs and all) kasi all is working fine. More than adequate naman ang brightness sa gabi (headlights and foglights combined), and I haven't tried replacing them. I'd love to add some LED bars in front though for places that are really dark, or add some DRLs in the future.. The only thing I added is a bed cover (trifold). I'm not sure about the warranty getting voided by replacing the bulbs unless it causes a major electrical problem as a result of buying the cheap LED replacements. The ride is definitely comfortable, you can try driving the pickups from competitors to test that. I am very pleased and satisfied with the unit. It's like owning a truck that drives almost like an SUV :)
Hey Adrian, it has Leather seats, leather armrest and leather center console. As for the steering the heavier gives very much more confidence in high speeds because of the stability it provides. The ride quality is very noticeable when compared to other pickups, it is not as stiff as the others especially the hilux and ranger are.
How about leather covered dashboard and steering wheel. And it is still stiff. You cannot put comfort shocks on an almost 1 ton loading capacity. It is just marketing gimmick about comfort bec it is spring. But in reality how could soften a shock when it is intended to a truck carrying heavy loads.
Boss, pa review po ng Hilux G 4x4 vs Ranger Wildtrax 4x4, and Navara VL 4x4. Like whch is better wen it comes to towing capacity and Max load capacity. Thanks 😊☺️☺️🤗🤗🤗
A.T.H.C Hi! bro ok lng ba ang navara if u put some heavy loads sa likod, i doubt kasi coil spring sya hindi leaf spring mahina sya pagmabigat ang karga mo sa likod, umaangat ang front side. I plan to buy this year choices ko navara at hilux pakihelp nmn sa pagpili. Marami na kasi akong narinig proven and tested na tlaga ang toyota hilux in the pick up segment.
