How To Improvise Melodically On Giant Steps

Tonight we'll be looking at some different strategies for improvising single note lines on John Coltrane's "Giant Steps." We'll analyze the harmony, and look at playing triads and various approach concepts, Barry Harris's half step rules, substitutions, and more.
