From what I've seen of that Alpine White Les Paul it is gorgeous! Very elegant looking. But as I've learned playing electric blues most of my life, it's the elegant looking ones that will snarl out some of the hottest back-alley blues licks you could ever hope to hear😉! I have been almost deliriously happy with my L.P. Classic. I got the Epiphone hard-shell case (says "Epiphone" in gold lettered logo) and the thing is not only a hand-in-glove fit for the guitar, but your guitar looks extra cool in that plush lining when you.open it up. Keep rockin' man. I know you've got a lot to say with that Alpine White LP!
From everything that I've seen and heard, the only difference between the Epiphone Les Paul Classic Honey Burst and the Gibson Les Paul Classic Honey Burst is the additional $1500 or so to have "Gibson" on the headstock. Mahogany body with a carved maple cap on top There are the push/pull coil splits on both humbuckers and a push/pull tone knob that plays the pickups in and out of phase and you have a ton of tonal varieties! The hard-shell case (one says Gibson, they other says Epiphone) are beautifully made and are made literally to custom fit the Les Paul body shape. If there is honestly some noticeable difference between these two guitars I would dearly love to know what it is.
hey buddy, just wanted to know, is it heavy like the gibsons, wanted to buy one but cant handle too heavy guitars, thats why im more likely to by the epiphone sg standart, what do you think?
I should be very surprised if you weren't happy with general overall weight and feel of the Epiphone. Whatever you choose, I know you're going to love the hell out of it!
@@jefreyes3229 No but there almost equal, I think If you want a Vintage you should get the Classic, but the Modern Is usually worth more, I think the Modern Is better, It has Locking Grover Traditional looking Chrome Tuner Pegs, and Ebony Fretboard, which Is usually more pricey than Indian Laurel. Other than that there fair, I'd be happy with either, If I can't get the Sparkling Red Burgundy Epiphone Les Paul Modern, I'l get myself a Honey Burst Classic, and add some Epiphone Cover plates, Plus I'd flip the logo around so It's black just for nostalgia, even tho it's not Gibson. Despite believing the Modern Is more for your buck. I probably want to get the Classic anyway, coz Honey Burst Is beautiful and the Regular Grover's hold fine anyway
Conservative Minded I see. Thanks for the info. This Classic i got it upgraded to bone nut, elixir strings 10s and string height adjustments. I love it!
@@jefreyes3229 Oh yeah, I used to Rock Ernie's but now I'm all about Elixir's I have 12's Nanoweb Prosper Bronzie's on my Seagul Acoustic, there amazing. Yeah the Nut Is important, Hopefully I could do the same with myne.
Just found this older vid, not sure how I missed it. Love that Les Paul sound!
Nice tone buddy, love these new epiphones, I bought the les paul custom version in alpine white and it's amazing, now I want this one also lol.

No flamed maple top anymore?
Not on a classic thankfully. They get the plain top that looks SO much better
