Hats off to the lady who’s been on the same post for over 40 years delivering the traditional & local delicacy (Banh Flan & Bao) to the world around her, this takes the real heart & love to make this happen🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍 Another Amazing Episode👍👍👍
She really is! And the fact that I remembered her stall 4 years after I last visited Vietnam is the biggest proof she’s very memorable and a great person ❤
I have been to Vietnam four times but have only been to the Walking street (Bui Vien) once during day time to book our Phuc Quoc island tour with Sinh Cafe. There was a small restaurant that made great crepes, There was so many places to see and so little time :).
Thanks for sharing! We've also been on that street during the daytime and it's nothing like in the evening haha 🥳 That's correct! There's plenty of great eateries around!
I saw your previous one and I think you guys are a lovely couple. You seem to be quite open-minded which is great for traveling. I really like VN because life there seems to be great value all around, from housing to food to transportation to services. I used to live and work in VN and quite envious of how ordinary people (blue collar) have same access to fresh delicious food, travel, recreation, park, etc as the wealthy. Not sure about life in Europe and UK but here in the US, to get good freshly cooked healthy food or safe housing, you'd have to pay a lot. I would suggest that you guys take advantage of freshly squeezed fruit juice or fruit smoothie in VN, they're quite reasonable, great thirst quencher for the tropic climate, and you get tree-ripened fruit in your drinks, save your craving for sodas like Coca Cola, etc when you get back to your home country. The VN flan in coffee is so so so good. I can probably eat 10 in one seating :-) That lady is so nice.
We literally just visited her and she was telling us about you! Thank you for making her day :) She gave us us free banh flan and refused to let us pay - "I'm inviting you!". Such a sweet lady :)
I've never actually been up north in Vietnam or even to central Vietnam - the pandemic cut my trip short! We will be heading to North Vietnam in December which I hear is more beautiful. However I've had very nice trips to Dalat and Phu Quoc Island before the pandemic!
I was there with my wife in 2017 loved it. we stayed in D1. We went to the night club area on the second night. The first person we met was an elderly men. first thing he said was asking if we wanted class A drugs lol. There is a bar not to far from Starbucks (as you look at Starbucks it down the road to the left.) that brewed their beer in house. all the stills were at the back of the bar.
You guys are the great couple and dealing with different authentic culter and inspiring me that have no experience on the street but look at everything has going great. Thanks for the video
We’re heading to Thailand very soon to spend some time with Karolina’s twin sister and film some videos! Then we’re heading back to Vietnam for a few weeks for Xmas and the New Year 😎

THANK FOR COMING OUR COUNTRY IN YOUR JOURNEY .GOOD LUCK ! TAKE CARE YOUR WELL _ BEING .
Hmmm, it all depends on the day but I would say your budget per day could be between $10-30 USD 😜 Eating more local food will be very cheap and satysfying too! Obviously the most expensive is alcohol 👍
Thank you 🙏 We’ve travelled a few this time and need to be back for my sister’s wedding early next year! But we hope to visit China one day for sure! 🇨🇳 That would be an adventure for sure 👌
Idk but I feel like you need something to ease your throat after recording this video. Well... Conversation is basically nonexistent in nightclub area idk what you expect from them. They're loud but that's the fun about it, get drunk, get loud, do something weird.😂 Anyway it's not that pleasant to record there tbh. I know how you feel mate.😅
It's totally different! This was more like strolling through the busy streets and have some roadside foods 🤗 Whereas in Taiwan, we specifically went to different Street Food Night Markets (which were awesome).
We, father and son, are watching your videos, you two are going to Bui Vien street, and eating bread, drinking sugar cane juice, we hope you two, speak English, but the translation must be Vietnamese for Vietnamese people. understand

Bạn ơi tôi rất thích video bạn nói chuyện với cô bán bánh flan, cô rất vui và nói tiếng anh khá tốt, với người lớn tuổi như cô ấy thật tuyệt vời

The flan lady is so friendly and her English is great even though she studied it a long time ago, before 1975. Very impressive

Ohhhhh, I feel you, I had like 5 or 6 in one go the other day 🫶🏽🍮
Awesome you can’t go wrong with a Banh Me. 🍻🍻👍👍

For the sugarcane juice, he added a calamansi for a bit of tanginess. Super good. Glad you enjoyed it
Good to know! So good 😍
Have good trip .
We add Kumquat to the sugarcane to balance the flavour with abit of sourness. Its Delicious combo and refreshing =)
That's a great idea!

Steamed Cassava 😮
Great video. How much per day do you need spending wise for eating/drinking? (like a King!)
Hmmm, it all depends on the day but I would say your budget per day could be between $10-30 USD 😜 Eating more local food will be very cheap and satysfying too! Obviously the most expensive is alcohol 👍
sugar plus caffeine is a perfect snack!
enjoy mate 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳👍👍👍
It's cassava the street food.
They add kumquat to the sugarcane, that why you taste the circuit
Next time am in vietnam.I have to visite her stand, she's so sweet.
Oh, we're missing her so much! The Banh Flan from here was indeed our favourite sweet snack ❤️
I’m going next week how’s the weather

What time did you go there? It looks very quiet especially for a Saturday night! Is tourism down in Saigon? Great videos by the way!
Yes it was! We went there around 6pm to avoid the craziest part 😂 Otherwise we wouldn’t be able to talk haha. Thanks!
@@JayandKarolina oh yes fair enough! I haven’t been for 6 years so I think a lot has changed. Keep up the great work!
how old are you? 20s? 30s?
