Farm Basics from Ag PhD Episode #1283 | 11/06/22 - What happens if your top growing point is lost? Brian and Darren Hefty explain what agronomists call apical dominance in today's Farm Basics.
Darren and brian I'll be applying strip tillage fertilizer to the corn in the fall. What issues should I pay attention to for the depth of the fertilizer, what should my fertilizer depth be? Thanks for your answer.
@@makifkaban 2016 dan beri takip ettiğim bir kanal burası. kendim ziraat mühendisiyim aynı zamanda çiftçiliklede uğraşıyoruz, mısır ayçiçeği buğday şeker pancarı yetiştiriyoruz. Strip tillage sisteminde kendimi çok fazla geliştirdim, birçok deneme yaptım küçük alanda. Sir my soil pH level is 5.5, i want raise Tomato, To increase pH to 6.3 I added lime to my soil, So now I have to wait until my soil reach that 6.3 pH level (it takes years) Or Can I start the crop?
No you don't have to wait , fertilize the corn properly n you'll be ok , just try it , if u don't get rain at the proper time it won't matter what the ph is anyway
Good talk. You guys should do a talk on herbicide symptomology and/or maybe how to differentiate systematic herbicide damage and random damage. Just an idea! Thanks guys
One of the most underrated aspects of achieving maximum flowering in plants.
A lovely sweet and uninformative video! Once again you two are awesome! Just wish you would make them longer 😊
Wait a second! "uninformative"?! ☝
I see a lot of issues with soybean being munched on by deer when they are seedlings (
this was very helpful thanks a lot
On soybeans, does anyone practice cutting back the leader to promote lateral branching to increase yield?

I was always told tomatoes like soil on the acidic side , they'll do just fine now
But sir if I want to raise corn, is I have to wait until my soil reach that 6.3 level ?
