Love the SAL beautiful design. I have noticed that many designers have a small area or motif that does not match the rest of the design. I do the same thing sometimes. I think about something deeply and I'm very unsure about what to do. As I ask someone for their opinion, in the silence before they answer, I make up my mind. Sometimes it comes sooner but it's like in my head I start hoping they choose a certain option. Haha. Now that I'm older I realize it sooner and on my way to ask I turn around. It's the little stuff. I'm glad I'm not the only one who completely makes a mistake and just totally leaves it and makes up things to fix it.
I fudge often and no knows!! Love fake leather for the bottoms of homemade bags!! I need to start stitching the beanie as I have knitted in a long time. I have a hat now that needs to go to the doubled pointed needles that I stitched probably 6 years ago so I am excited to watch your video on how to do this.
I’m excited to begin the #tigerlilybdaysal ! I’m still waiting on the pattern to arrive but I’ll get there. I’ll be stitching with my bestie stitching buddy! We’re so excited!

You really are moving along on your birthday SAL, & it looks so pretty!! I have a question - Why do you remove the name of the person who originally stitched the sampler? Love your quilt top - that is an amazing fabric collection! I was going to try & join in on your beanie SAL, but having some health issues, & wasn’t able to get out for some yarn! Hopefully next week, if I can get out to the stores. Have a wonderful weekend!

Love saw-tooth star quilts. Star quilts are definitely my favorite. Starting my two-by-two ribbing (oooh getting the lingo!) on my beanie - so fun!

You say 2 days of stitching but how many hours? I am starting after putting it down for almost 20 years and it seems like such a slow process.
Great question. On average it's 1-3 hours a night of after dinner, before going to bed.
