Ordered a 420. Waiting for it to arrive. Putting it on 78003dx. First build I have done since 2010. So 'pumped' for this AIO.

Thanks, I really like them. Some people have had issues fitting them apparently but I haven't so far on either AMD or intel sockets. They have sent us the larger models as well since with RGB and they are really nice.
I would love to compare this to the ROG ryujin III. Both have the fan on the cpu
TBH I am not sure how much the fan on the Freezer II did, I have their coolers and the fan spins but never thought it was big enough to really make a difference but this one is like having one of those AreoCool Mirage 5 coolers just for your VRMs so should make a bit of a difference.

I've just watched your video at 11 days ago, I already have the Arctic Liquid Freezer iii 360 RGB, I'm in the UK and its been available for at least a week, I'm in the process of fitting mine, according to the online manual the pump header goes up the opposite way to how you have shown with pipes at the top, it says it is important to get the orientation correct. The paper instruction that came with the older 360 ii was a lot clearer of how to connect up, until I watched this video I couldn't make any sense of how to connect it up, with the RGB 360 there is another cable on the radiator with a cap on it, removing the cap reveals a 4 pin plug with 3 pins, no idea what that is for or where it could go.
The pipes on the block go at the bottom, otherwise the logo on the pump head is upside down. The one sent to us wasn’t RGB so only has the pwm connections.
@@TechLabUK yes you are right my first Google search link for the manual took me to the wrong model, I still think having the paper instruction with the 360 ii was much easier to follow, especially with the correct wiring connections, as I said there is an extra cable on the radiator with a cap on it, there is no mention of that anywhere I can find. The rest of the wiring comes down through the hose to the head, which allows for the all in one connection cable.
They need to have a option to install if one already has a contact frame.
Yeah, have seen a few others comment on this. Would have been good if they had included some brackets like the AM4/AM5 ones for Intel just for the option.
@@TechLabUK I’m sure the contact frame is better than the stock ILM, but it just looks cheap. I’ll check back after you’ve done testing 😊
@@haies09 In your hand it feels very well made, quite heavy and solid. Much more solid than Thermalright one's I have used in the past but I am sure we will see :)

Is a small fan like that on the block quite noisy?
We haven't fully tested it in terms of acoustic levels but you can barely hear it when running to the ear.
if it's a similar fan to the Liquid Freezer 2, it's just as quiet as their P12 fans. I never hear mine running. Put it out of your mind and consider any effect it might have a bonus. Unless everything else in your system is passively cooled, it's a non-issue.

Not yet, this was just our initial look at its features. We will be testing it soon but can't believe it will be bad, Arctic know how to make coolers.
Surprised at the prices of these on Amazon UK. Doubtful the prices will stay low for very long. If they are reliable in long term use.
Apparently the current low, low prices are inline with their anniversary celebrations. I expect them to increase soon.

Got recommended this video probably cause I was googling a lot about pump noise and LF3 in general. Got LF3 280 mostly for looks cause I had LF2 280 already. But the pump does annoying rattling noise which slightly changes with pump orientation, made a ticket on a arctic site and no response for almost two weeks. Though I've found a large thread on reddit with the same issue and arctic doesn't respond. Somehow, none of the reviewers mentioned the issue and I cannot believe that reviewer never encountered it.
Hey, I have not encountered any issues with the one that was sent to us. Worth tagging in Arctic on Twitter about it as they seem pretty good there in responding. Surprised they aren't quicker on the support tickets though.
@@TechLabUK hey, thanks for an idea tagging them on Twitter! Though the pump noise seems to be the theme in Arctic subreddit now 🙃 The most frustrating thing is that previously I had only good experience with their support.
