Meh the jury's out on them for me .. thanks for making us aware of them and how they fit, this year i am going to try the art of what NOT to take away.
I've always taken more than I needed, but I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it! For me going on Tour with a loaded bike makes it feel like a real adventure. Riding with the bear minimum just makes it feel like any other ride out.
I own a 2021 s1000xr and have a SW-MOTECH GS tank bag and a 350 dry bag. I really like their products. They hold up well. These saddlebags are a nice option. I might have to look at picking up a set. Thanks for the review. 👍
The bags look amaaaaazing on your bike. Im torn between getting the GSA vs 1000XR. I dont do any heavy off-road riding.....mainly paved touring miles with the occasional gravel road. I love your entire set up!!!!! Subscribed!!!
Hello, I own S1000xr 2020 model. Im planning to install Hard top box. I just wanted to ask you will it affect ride? and I have 46 litre and 56 litre top box option so which would be better to install? thanks awaiting reply
Good morning! Adding luggage will always effect the ride slightly, a topbox more so as you adding weight higher on the bike. Its all down to personal preference what size to get, depends and what you're wanting to transport in it.
Make some nice kit SW Motech. Interesting idea to give the advantages of soft luggage with convenience of hard luggage fitting. I don’t have these so maybe wrong but when you show the bag fitted to the panel at 13.20 there’s a raised area on the back plate between the two upper mounting locks . This seems to line up with the horizontal strap on the bag itself. Should that raised area go behind that strap to add extra support?
Cheers for the vid. Just got these bags and rack. I'll install my bags tomorrow.
Great stuff, I'll be on tour with mine mid July👍
The smaller spindles are probably for fitting the smaller panniers they also do on the same rack !
I was gonna say, you know what this means mate.
ROAD TRIP!!!
You've got to test them out havent you.
Yes! Beer money shot FTW. Cheers Shaun
It's important to relaxed and hydrated when installing bike luggage😜
@@thelikeablerider8800 Ofcourse, most important
Can you review the hoover
looks nicer than the bags
it looks great. does it fit a full face helmet?
Great review!
They look nice for the right bike. I have GSA so I stick with the tins. Maybe on my triumph though. Thanks for the detailed info. Ride safe mate.

@@thelikeablerider8800 yeah I get that I also like the fact there obviously quite a bit lighter than the oem or other offerings , and also waterproof.
nice. look good on your bike. 😃
I wasn't expecting them to fit looks wise, but works well👍
How does it clip and un clip?

You're welcome James, happy shopping👍😜
Wish I’d gone this route with my Multi V2S, may have to offload my OEM panniers, big fan of Motech kit and the red tags match the colour of the bike.
I've always liked soft luggage more tbh, and now with hard luggage fittings, can't go wrong👍😜
