We still haven't seen Septile, Torterra, Serperior, Infernape, Emboar, Incineroar, Feraligatr, Swampert, and Primarina from the old GEN Pokémon. Would love to see the GEN 9 ones before the end-of-life on S/V, but that might be wishful thinking. I doubt we'll see another Grass-type so soon, so maybe a Fire-type. Incineroar would be a great one.
My money is on Emboar (Electric) or Incineroar (Fighting). Since Blaziken, we've had two new Water and two Grass, so I feel like we're due for Fire, but there's really no overall pattern to these raids. Sometimes they cover a whole generation in a row, sometimes they repeat the same type, sometimes they skip all over. They keep us on our toes!
Been using Ghost tera Gholdengo and so far it has been very consistent, as long I get a teammate with Intimidate. 252 SpA, 252 HP, 6 Def. Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, Reflect, and Recover. T1: Reflect T2: Nasty Plot T3-5: Shadow Ball T6-7: Reflect + Cheer Hold Tight (nullifies at this point) T8-10: Nasty plotx2, recover T11-12: Reflect + Nasty plot T13 onwards: ghost tera > Shadowball until end, just make sure to cast 1 more reflect on turn 16 and you should be good.
My brother and i teamed up for the raid last week. I used annihilape and he used ceruledge. Move Sets: Bulk Up, Rage Fist, Brick Break, Drain Punch (Annihilape), and Bitter Blade, Clear Smog, Swords Dance, Shadow Claw (Ceruledge). The strategy was for the Ceruledge to alternate between Clear Smog and Swords Dance to clear the curse boosts, my Annihilape's turn 1 was to get rid of the screens, then alternate between bulk up and rage fist. It took a few tries to get this to work
If you want to really blitz him in a duo an alternative would be armorrouge with weak armor, skill swap, reflect, and then whatever else, if you give him weak armor he should lose defense insanely fast, triggering him to then use curse and nullify his speed, meanwhile your Ceruledge needs only 3 turns to max offense and a fourth to clear smog if you need it.
I used annihilape and mew. Mew had reflect, will o wisp life dew and leach life with bug tera. The annihilape did the heavy lifting damage wise, the mew basically made the monkey invincible. Will o.wisp on turn 1, reflect on 2 and then leech life to contribute damage and get to tera and then life dew and reflect as necessary. To duo anyway.
Really glad when people bring their Annihilape to online raids. I’ve got a support Malamar set that I’ve been using to keep randoms alive that’s been successful on that front, specifically. Hate it when people ignore that I skill swapped Contrary onto Meganium though.
My Skeledirge build was Torch Song, Hex, Willow Wisp, Flamethrower with Unaware and Shell Bell. The willow wisp is just an easier way to inflict burns to power up hex after the shield breaks with flamethrower being used during the shields until it breaks or a burn is inflicted as well as slightly more damage than Torch Song after your attack is maxed and both burn inflicting moves could be unused depending on the allies you get.
My strategy is different with Annihilape. I use it with 252 in Atk and Def with Scope Lens. Move set: Rage Fist, Bulk up, Focus Energy and Taunt. First i Hit 3 times with Rage Fist to charge the tera cristal and die to make sure Meganium put itselve the shield and clean our stadistics. When Annihilape return, Therastallize in Ghost and put 3 bulk up, after that then I put Focus Energy and hit with Rage Fist from 2 to 3 hits to Win. If i use bulk Up 4 times instead 3 then we making sure Meganium die in 2 hits. And if you use bulk up 6 times and atk cher up then Meganium die with only 1 hit. All depends of your own HP and the NPCs that are helping you.
This strat worked great for me! My Annihilape had max Attack and HP so i had to cheer heal a few times, but worked 1st try!! Might replace taunt with drain punch?
@@kaels2012 I don't believe but try you. Drain punch is fight move. Some times is necessary put Taunt after 2 Rage fist or begin with Taunt and after 3 Rage fist.
Thanks for the Skeledirge build. I've tried to beat Meganium during the first week by using Annihilape but it didn't work at all. The Skeledirge build however made it quite easy, so I was finally able to catch it. ^^
Thanks for covering! I didn’t realize there were Blissey raids as well. Definitely updating in my account to lock in these raids even though I was able to handle them last week. Been trying duos and Armarouge was fun for the Meganium. Blissey will be interesting to build for a special defense wall.
Annihilape is the fastest to solo this raid but you need a teamate with burn moves or intimidate for this to work. I think malamar is 2nd fastest to solo this raid
Thank you so much for this video, caught my first Meganium with the Skeledirge build. I got two drops of Sweet and Sour Herba Mystica, was really shocked since it's my first raid in my game lol. Keep up the good work and I hope the next 7 star raid is Feraligatr. Thank you so much for putting out these videos 😊
I'm solo farming meganium with contrary stellar malamar (skill swap on first turn, then let him faint charging tera through superpower to came back with contrary). It's as consistent as skeledirge and not much slower than best-case Annihilape. You just need to avoid healing partners like gardevoir and arboliva. One intimidating teammates is also fine, only two is too detrimental.
Trade slack off for hex for that first build, it’s better than shadow ball if the target ends up with a status condition, and the shell bell is enough healing as long as you protect the turn your ability is nullified
Thanks for the set. I always struggle with that last vital move I need. Annihlape worked great although I opted for scope lens. For some reason I never get enough health back before I can actually do effective damage thus die too early. Plus scope lens meant if I got lucky to set up it was over very quickly since I'm practically guaranteed crits with the focus energy.
With skeledirge, it also works if it knows hex and will o wisp. Hex deals more damage than shadow ball when opponent is inflicted with status effect, and certain npc pokemon can inflict them if you get lucky.
Luckily I did this the first day it came out with a Dark Tera Malamar, because I got Brilliant Diamond for my birthday on Wednesday (I wanted it to get the Ribbons for my Shiny Roselia) and I'll be busy shiny hunting Dialga in the following days
Tera Stellar Skeledirge is more consistent. Preserves the resistance to Seed Bomb, meaning that Meganium is forced to use 90% accurate Zen Headbutt, and boosts both Shadow Ball and Torch Song so you deal more damage during the set-up
Thanks for this video, finally got to get it today with Skeledirge (although I didn't read the description properly and IV trained all stats, but I was still able to get it done!)
I've been using this exact Annihilape set and it works really fast if u get lucky with crits. An Intimidate NPC should always be used and also while much weaker than Rage Fist, Shadow Claw is a guaranteed crit after using Focus Energy which will always ignore the defense boosts.
I have been using an old annihilape same moveset except the ev spread is 252 atk, 252 def rest is hp. Been also trying the skill swap contrary malamar but i find it slower than annihilape
I have a buildup of my own Skeledrige Held item: Shell Bell SPA: 252 HP:252 DEF:4 Moves: Torch Song Protect Shadow Ball Hex Nature: Modest Used torch song to bring up the shields Then use protect because the Pokemon will neglect your ability for one turn Use torch song 6x And Shadow Ball to win Bonus tip: if it has a status condition hit it with hex
Thank you for helping me out. I use my fire starter to help me win the battle and for show me how to use the mirror herb I got the moves slack off and that came in handy. 😊
I found the Annihilape to be much, much more effective holding a scope lens. It boosts the crit rate to be high enough that you're landing crits more than not. That, plus max ev in Attack made this entire raid a cake walk. Much faster and more consistent than Skeledirge, in my opinion.
I was watching Diana's video and trying her build as I played along to her video, literally got smoked. Came here and played along to your video, and beat Meganium on the first try. I can't believe she told me to put a scope lens on annihilape 🤣

Rage Fist Puts up shield & nullifies stat changes 6. Bulk up (Terastallize Ghost) 7. Bulk up 8. Bulk up 9. Bulk up 10. Focus Energy 11. Rage Fist 12. Rage Fist. GG. Only reason I only Bulk up 4 times is because Meganium will use Bulldoze after turn 11 Rage fist (if crit) then Defiant ability will raise up 2 stages to +6. Then turn 12 is GGs.
Thx for this I won with half the timer left. I used scope lens held item. And had max hp and attack. NPC healed me a couple times which helped. You saved me so much time! Good build.

•reflect to weaken it even further
•helping hand to help the most powerful attacker on the field (ideally physical as meganium's defence will be minimal)
•protect to stall for time if you're at low health
Here's a solo build if you still need it:
Malamar (Modest, Contrary, Shell Bell, Tera Dark, 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA)
- Dark Pulse
- Nasty Plot
- Skill Swap
- Reflect
Max IVs for HP, Def, and SpA. You won't need the other stats.
Skill Swap ×1, Nasty Plot ×2, Dark Pulse ×3, then wait a few seconds for Meganium to remove your buffs. The shield usually comes up after the second Dark Pulse.
Nasty Plot ×3, Reflect ×1, Terastal Dark, Dark Pulse until you win. You should have about 1/3 of the time remaining on the clock at the end, so it's pretty fast and pretty safe. Make sure to wait until after the Reflect to Terastal since Body Press will be super-effective after becoming a pure Dark type.
If you want to be extra safe, you can put up Reflect again the turn after breaking the shield. There's a chance Meganium will use Body Press twice in one turn, and it can knock you out if it does this two turns in a row without debuffs.
